Stop there if you pass through. Very friendly curator. You can see an original Rail Operator Manual from the 50’s. Locally hand crafted wood trains are fantastic. You can see the original Operator’s Control Board.

What a fabulous find as I was looking for something to do while stopping in downtown Tyler! One of the best museums I've been to, so much history packed in every corner! And wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable volunteers, too!

The Director, Steve is very personable and knowledgeable. What a great museum, by mainline tracks, with an HO train track experience inside. A volunteer, Josiah, is an awesome train enthusiast.

Interesting Old railroad depot and museum. Freight trains still rattle past in this depot. No longer for passenger trains, mores the pitty.
