Favorite trail system in the Roanoke Valley. Amazing place to trail run and hike. No bikes, though.

The trail gave me a hike, yet anyone except those with severe problems with their knees or legs, or are in wheelchairs, can hike this. It's not so long that a person would have problems just hiking it, but not so short that it wouldn't...Read More

Nice trails! Although we found it a bit confusing which trail let where and the signs on the trail were confusing as well so we are thankful we took a picture of the map before embarking.

Great trail for trail running or just a hike in the woods to get outside. It doesn't have any views of sweeping vistas as it's 'just' a trail through the woods. But you can do the full loop or just half of it by cutting...Read More

Best hike in Roanoke for that post work week hiking fix. It’s easily accessible and there are ways to make it 2 miles up to 5 miles if you find yourself tired or ready for more.

Awesome trail for running. Very well maintained and very scenic. Actually, I enjoy the solitude so disregard everything that I said, the trail is awful and rabid squirrels are everywhere. Stay away!!!

We really love this hike. There are so many options and it is very secluded. It is long if you do the entire loop so beware 🤣 …

Easy and fun hike. If you go right from the overlook you will have some muddy areas after a recent rain. So if it rained go left up the ridge

Well maintained trail considering all the rain we've had. Easy to moderate with only three steep hills.

Several loops with gentle slopes. Trails are marked with signage and blazing. Roots, stone and dirt surface for walking.
