Clean, safe park for everyone. Dogs are welcome in some areas (as long as pet owners are responsible, it'll stay that way) Basketball court as well as a soccer field. There's plenty of fish in the pond for fishing. No Ice skating during the winter months! Great walking paths for those who enjoy exercise, and two playgrounds, which were updated last year along with other areas of the park. One thing I really like about this park is that it's never crowded. There is plenty of parking too. Although it's rare to see wild animals grazing here, Cass park is home to turtles, egrets, swan, ducks,Beaver, Dear, Fisher-Cats, and lots of other RI wildlife. Unless you get up really early in the morning, you may catch a glimpse of some fury creatures. Summer weekends at Cass Park have many family events. Note: As of 2018 the state is still working on improvements and rebuilding the parks ball fields
