Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in West Hartford

We're in the area and decided on this treat for lunch. Our go to is the endless soup, salad, and bread sticks. You can't eat fast food for less money, this is a great deal. I get the chicken and gnocchi and my husband gets the pasta fagioli. Always delicious, the salad is very good too. Our waitress was perfect, attentive but not overly, she came at the perfect times. I also enjoyed the strawberry drink off the spring menu and it was refreshing.

I don't love chain restaurants, but it's been a while since I have been & i shouldn't have been so dismissive. We decided to try the Shrimp Fritto Misto appitizer, then the "all you can eat" soup & salad. The appetizer came out quickly & the waitress was conscious of not pushing food on is, which was nice. Not that I would have minded having it all at once, but it has a way of filling the table. I'm not a fan of fried stuff, but the batter was very light & tasted of green peppers. The dish had shrimp, onion, red & green peppers. The green peppers were aldente, which was suprising & fresh. When the salad & soup came out, the plates for the salad were nice & cold, & the soup was nice & hot. With a fixed menu, they seem to put a little extra care into the training & attention to detail, which is nice. A notable mention: although we did not meet him, the Manager of this location was Corey Argueta Davis nice job. Our waitress Jackie was young, but I would give her an A+ in service. She really upped the experience for us! Everything was so fresh, even the kale in the soup was fresh & bright. Even the coffee seemed to be a bold roast. The only thing that fell short was the bathroom. It was not dirty, it was more of a maintenance issue whichbwas a shame, becauase it was an upscale bathroom. There was a stall w/ a caution sign in front of it, one of the lights were starting to go, so it was a tad flickery & the paper towel roll was just placed on the counter vs in the dispenser. It's not the end of the world, but considering all of the other care taken to make sure the experience was above average, it was a suprise. One more bathroom mention, the small stalls are completely enclosed, so open the door BEFORE you flush because the toilet flush is deafening.

What can be said about the belly busting trip to Olive Garden…other than simply…filling. Located on New Britain Avenue in West Hartford, the place has plenty of parking..but on the flip, in the front is mostly for curbside pickup and handicap. Service - I had Tyler as my host/waiter..very personable, easy to talk to and very welcoming. He explained how the never ending pasta worked when asked (even though I knew), made recommendations and just all around what you want as a server. No matter how much cheese I wanted on the salad and pasta, he kept cranking. Food - everyone gets the breadsticks…they were hot and fresh, but they do get cold and hard quick..but it’s cold in here to begin with. I got the salad with the Olive Garden house dressing..absolutely love it and even use it when I make slaw. First bowl was with Rigatoni, Five Cheese Marinara and three Crispy Chicken Fritta. Second bowl was with fettuccine, meat sauce and meatballs. Place was clean, bathrooms were clean and will definitely be back. On a 1-5…easily a 4.8. On a 1-10..easily a 9.6.

Went to visit and celebrated 🎉 my birthday on 5/4/25 and was amazing experience My waiter Olivia gave a 💯 percent customer service and was really polite and friendly in all my family’s need in drinks and food will be back next year thanks to all the team of Olive Garden that sang Happy Birthday 🎉 to me blessings to all 🙏🏾and hope to see you all next year

Had an amazing time out at Olive Gardens. Went on a dinner date with my girlfriend. She took me there so it was my first time to ANY Olive Garden location actually. Enjoyed our time out, the food was lovely, great atmosphere, really felt like we were in Europe to be honest. Great ambiance.

JoJO was our waiter. He’s fast, very attentive and just a very pleasant waiter. We were 4 people and all agreed we would want him again as our waiter. This is what makes the whole dining experience special when you have a great waiter. Food was exceptional so good. Great atmosphere, clean place. We were there on Monday very early around 5. We will come again but hope to have JoJo as our waiter.

This olive garden is the first one i've been to that doesn't have a strong smell of bathrooms when you go in. In a lot of olive gardens, the restrooms are right next to the entrance, and boy was that a poor choice in design. Instead of smelling the excellent garlics breads, you get that weird smell of pee mixed with deodorant salts. This is my only vomplain with this franchise older restaurants. But rest assure this one isn't one of those. We went in at 4 pm, everyone had a smile, the service was quick, refills where plentyfull and we had a great time. Great restautants for the kids too. For allergic customers, their garlic breadsticks are dary and egg free and they taste sooo good. Portions at olive garden are very large and prices are fair.

Olive Garden was absolutely amazing! I go there for date nights sometimes as well as when I have the cravings for the soups and pasta! Service is always a 10/10 always kind and refilling drinks and food is great! Obviously on Friday and sat are the busiest so it might take longer for food or waiting in line but again that’s reasonable. Food came out hot and alcoholic drinks were tasteful. I love the chocolates that are given when the check is paid. I absolutely LOVE that they do the mint chocolates!! It’s a nice warm and comforting atmosphere it’s nice and dim as well great for family gatherings! Beautiful place and I love the endless soup/ salad refills!!!!!

Had to leave a review for my waiter Anthony. He had about 5 tables he was waiting on and he was so personable and polite. He even asked some guests for their name so he could greet them the next time. He was so attentive, you just don't get that anymore these days so he definitely deserves some recognition. The food and restaurant in general was great!

Our server Jacob was AMAZING! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He gave great menu suggestions, kept our drinks full, and truly went above and beyond. Olive Garden is lucky to have him—ask for Jacob if you want top-notch service!

The food was great, unfortunately I don't remember the name of my waiter but he was fantastic, funny, and quite comforting. He exceeded the 10/10 service. The only way im able to describe him is LGBTQ friendly and wears glasses. He deserves to be recognized. thanks for the berry pitcher sangria recommendation 😁
