Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in New Hartford

I have been here couple of times .. really love the ambience. Our family came here today for my birthday celebration. We had tried all of their vegetarian appetizers so wanted to try something new .. they specially got cheese stuffed mushrooms prepared for us.. and that was just the start of our dinner. Our server was polite and graciously served us all our courses. The drinks were good.. could use some more alcohol to give it a jinx.

Needed a place to eat that open late and I’m glad we came here. Our server Alex was amazing !! Was there anytime we needed something and our drink glasses were never empty. He was very attentive and super friendly. The food was really good .

We stopped here on our way back from the Adirondacks. Our entire experience was great. Our food was delicious. Our waitress Julie was so pleasant and our girls loved interacting with her. We were talking about our youngest birthday coming up, and she surprised her with an early birthday slice of cake, and the staff sang to her. It’s too bad we live 2.5 hours away. We’d come here all the time just for the friendly atmosphere.

Dom't typically care mich for the franchise restaurants, but Olive Garden is spot on with their food and service. The place was packed when we arrived, but because we were a party of 2 we got seated immediately. Our server was great attentive and friendly. Also, we haven't been able to eat for so cheap in a long long time. We will frequent here!!

We stopped into this location for lunch while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself was updated, nice, and clean. Our waiter (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) was great. - Quick, friendly and attentive. The perfect level of service without being at the table too much, or too little. (That sounds picky but it can make a difference.) The food came out quickly. Salad and apps followed timely by our main course. And the food itself was really great. I’ve never had an overly positive opinion of Olive Garden. But boy did this one change my opinion. Apps were delicious, as well as our main course. And of course the salad and breadsticks were good as well. - We don’t live locally so probably won’t be back unfortunately, but if you’re in the area and hungry, this location should not disappoint.

This is an experience we had with Olive Garden on 4636 Commercial Dr. Been to the store a few times so this is a belated review. Located in the plaza next to Men’s Warehouse on Commercial Drive, it is quite easy to find. Parking is also not difficult has they have an outdoor parking lot with plenty of spots. This is probably one of the best Olive Gardens that we have been to! Not only because the food is great in general, their service is top notch. This time we ordered the minestrone soup, sirloin steak, fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti, mozzarella sticks, and tiramisu. The sirloin steak is surprisingly tasty and flavorful without any extra sauce or seasoning; pretty upscale for steak at this price range. The unlimited salad and soup are always a blessing. Everything was decent including the mozzarella and spaghetti. The tiramisu has always been our favorite… the sweetness that melts in your mouth. The waitress Shawna, is extremely attentive, considerate and friendly. She consistently asks us if the food was good and informed us promptly when items may take a while (best quality in a waitress - manage customer’s expectations). She boxed up our food nicely and was a pleasant conversationalist. Last but not least, the manager, Kim, also came out and helped us while the restaurant was busy (excellent quality of a manager - helpful when needed vs sitting back and relaxing). Because of the great food and services, we will definitely return again. Keep up the good work Shawna, manager Kim, and Olive Garden Commercial Drive!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was hot and delicious, and the staff were polite and knowledgeable. The team truly makes the business a success; our hostess seated us comfortably, and our waitress was amazing. I also want to commend the kitchen staff and managers for their contributions to our positive experience. This restaurant perfectly embodies the Olive Garden brand. Thank you. 6/8/2025.

Made a fairly large pick up order for a get together. All the food was well packaged, hot and tasted great. They even included all serving utensils, plates, bowls, fork/spoons, bottled salad dressing, etc. Can't say enough about the service. Well done Olive Garden and Thanks. I'll definitely order again.

Kayla at Olive Garden in New Hartford NY and the staff did an excellent job! We had great service for a party of 8. It was my granddaughters 2nd Birthday!! They took the time to give the birthday girl and her siblings some cute little ducks! The staff brought cake and song Happy Birthday!! Thank You for your excellent service and love!!

We really had a nice experience here yesterday, I had to write a review because not only was everything we ordered absolutely Good our waitress Amberdawn was Amazing, Her Demeanor for one was Beautiful, Her Patience,Customer Service, and her Ability to make sure each table she serviced was tooken care of was so nice to see if I can give more stars I Will, The Service,Food,and Atmosphere was Amazing and I would Highly Recommend this establishment.🙌🏿❤️

My servers Travis and Cheyenne were delightful. They brought scrumptious food all around with a big smile and cheerful attitude. Those two beautiful people are going somewhere great in life and they deserve a one million dollar tip. They are by far the best servers in this whole establishment. I give them a clap clap and a spin around for their amazing service towards customers. I definitely would like them again next time I come, which will be every week thanks to those two gorgeous human beings. God bless and stay safe.
