Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Fayetteville

What's there to share that the world doesn't know? Olive Garden is simply the best in fine dining and cuisine. We celebrated our Mom's 72nd birthday. Remiss of us not to have made reservations so our wait time was 35mins. We chit chat with other guests who were also waiting so the time went by speedily. Finally the text came in announcing that our table was ready. The food was served warm and tasted so delicious 😋. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo, as also the chicken Alfredo. The never-ending soup and salad with bread sticks as appetizers were perfect. Our hostess was accommodating and courteous (can't recall her name). I particularly like the ambience and the fact that other guests keep their conversations at an acceptable volume. Had a bit of a peeve with the waiters moving the trolley with the used plates. Created quite a racket. Maybe it was overloaded or the plates not packed properly. Nevertheless, it wasn't enough to spoil the occasion. Olive Garden is one of my favorite places for a special dinner 😊Jan 15, 2023: We made reservations for a party of fifteen. You would have thought that they would arrange the tables in a U so we interact with each other. We were seated in two separate rows and when we asked our servers if they could rearrange them, the two very annoyed waitresses said we would have to go back outside. We said we would just stand aside and allow them to move the tables. Apparently that was not acceptable because they walked away and never returned. We moved the tables ourselves. A young man, Eric, was obviously sent to replaced them and what a wonderful young man he was! He was patient and professional. Thanks Eric for playing your part in making our occasion pleasant.

Basic olive garden so I won't bite you with the deets... New bread sticks are softer and good if you prefer soft. These are connected together when booked so middle sides do not have a crust. Delicious with or without salt. I do wish people were not in such a hurry to eat and that they were not in a hurry to clear tables. There is no doubt that those are the two drivers that have turned this from a couple of courses to relax to, into a single course with your entree cooling while you eat soup or salad or in the case of my last trip there eating the entree while waiting on the salad. Wait staff are above and beyond.

First time being back at Olive Garden in over 3yrs and it was just as good.... and expensive as I remember lol We tried to come here 2 other times but it was crowded & the wait was long... 3rd times the charm I guess.We were greeted upon arrival & told there would be a 30 min wait. We waited... walked to the smoke shop & the Jamaican restaurant down the road then we got a text saying the table was ready. It was less than 30min.The bathroom was dirty but the food was good -bread was cooked to perfection... lasagna was very hearty. I ate some salad, 2 breadsticks, one bite of everything from the tour of Italy and drank 2 teas and got full. The tea was FIRE and our host was nice and attentive. We got 2 meals , one appetizer & 2 drinks and paid almost $80 with tip so yeah expensive but I'm not mad about it.Will be back and would recommend.

Bit of a disappointment. My husband and I have been to many branches but this one was a huge let down. We did go for dinner later than usual (10pm) but I expect the same quality of service and food regardless of the time. Our waitress (Amber) was very accommodating and sweet. Breadsticks were so bland and the soup was so watery. The salad & calamari starter were still good. A few of the staff members were sitting around and often heard a few of them talking about their personal life which seemed very unprofessional. Super let down :(

Absolutely enjoy visiting Olive Garden. Quentin is an exceptional staff member to have. He was very courteous, nice, and knew the menu. He never skipped a beat and made sure he was bothered by the pesky comments some had to offer. Decor and table layout is more spacious and is great. No lines and no wait. I would suggest to clean, disinfect or for the Company to move all rest room to the back of the restaurant. The smell upon arriving isn't pleasant but the food was very scrumptious. Food was pleasantly made with loving hands.

Went there to eat on my anniversary and server was great and all! Food was good until we found a cockroach going around the windows and side of table. It was too late for us to have the night ruined by this particular incident. For the expense of our dinner a was not pleased at all I was standing on the hallway and nobody asked anything. The guy from the table in front of us killed it luckily before we left the restaurant.

It's 12:30am Friday the 28th. I ate this lasagna around 3:30pm on the 27th. It came back up. Believe that so called ricotta was rotten. I took Picture of it and showed it to waitress but she didn't know cause she was new employee. And it all came back faster than it went down. Will probably not be back to eat at this or any Olive Garden for a very long time.

Soup and salad, delicious every time.Update 12.07.2023.I popped in for a quick lunch, it was a 10 to 15 minute wait for regular seating, so I like to sit at the bar. I'm not that tall, so it was not my preference, but I was in a hurry. I'm glad I made that decision, my waitress was awesome, thank you Nashanti for a wonderful dining experience. "Shanti" was on it, she was, attentive, friendly, courteous and efficient. She really knows how to handle her business. Okay, my food was good, I selected from the lunch menu, fettuccine alfredo, salad, breadsticks. The food was good, it met my expectations. However, the real MVP was Shanti. I'll risk my feet dangling in those high top chairs to sit in her section. Thank you Shanti!

They served us with dirty silverware. I left my phone in the car, or I would've taken a picture. The manager never csme out either, we ate with plastic utensils for a $50+ dinner..And this is on a Sunday at 1pm. $51 for 2 orders of chicken alfredo... my date had a raspberry lemondate and I had a sweet tea. Total was $51.00... Only was offered complimentary desserts. We declined.. Jasmine, was our server we never got offered a refill on drinks or bread... and the food tasted like crap. That bread, my God thats not edible. The alfredo sauce needs work. The salad is so-so.. Honestly im still hungry, would've rather went to Chipotle.... that meal shouldn't have been anywhere near 50 bucks, honestly it wasnt even worth $20. This frozen bag of Alfredo Chicken that cost $4.99 frim Food Lion Taste Better. I promise you i'll never comeback- Antonio (Jan 5th, 2025 1pm)

I came to eat here with my coworkers. Everything was good at first, however it got worse as time went on. Drinks came out, and we all were handed the wrong drink, and not what we ordered. We never got refills on bread, drinks or soup. Soup was soupy with no kale, my entrée was not even hot and was dry. Taylor was our waitress. She was not friendly, seemed very stressed even though it was during lunch with hardly any customers. My coworkers and I will not be coming back for lunch.

We had a phenomenal waitress name was NYDO her service was excellent. She kept us informed. Her smile was infectious. She was like one of the best waitresses I have seen in a long time. She kept us informed about our food when it finally came out after an hour and 15 minutes it was kinda hot the shrimp taste like beef and was overcooked. The pasta was overcooked, and the chicken was overcooked they Alfredo sauce had already began to separate and it was just nasty

Went for dinner last night with our son home from ft riley in Kansas. Waitress was very nice. Not sure what they did to the Alfredo sauce but not what I remember. Did not taste good at all. My husband got salmon dinner and was not impressed. Out of the 4 of us , the only one who didn't get sick was my son who ordered spaghetti and meatballs. My other son and I always enjoyed the chicken Alfredo but last night it tasted horrible. Don't know what has changed or happened but .....will not be going back for awhile. And our bill was not cheap

Our server was great and went above and beyond however one of our entrees never came out. We waited for the manager for quite some time, the waitress told us the tickets were backed up. When we were all finished eating the Manager finally came out. Offer no remedy, no apology after we have sat for 50 minutes. The manager still charged will price for the ridiculously late entree. We decided to take it off but it the principle.

Food was great and the service was even better. Had Fettuccine Alfredo pasta. Our waitress server was great. She knew the menu and could and did answer all my questions. I her name was Kay. Which was easy to remember. She did a great job. She took care of us and never had to wait for refills. I will be going back and hope next waitress is as good as Kay. Don't forget about the soup is was great too.

Very disappointed today. Service was really bad. Waited an hour for pasta which you know that was fine but when we did get our food it was ice cold, that’s what mad me mad. Instead of sending it back I ate what I could stand and left. I had Alfredo and it was basically cold clumps of cheese. Zero flavor as well. The minestrone soup was barely warm and also had zero seasoning and for some reason had pickles in it. The entire staff was in a we don’t want to be here demeanor and it showed in our service and food.

The food is OK at best (not bad, but obviously mass produced). The service my family received was great though. The atmosphere of the restaurant is that of a chain maximizing profit per square foot. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't a place I would take a date out to either.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wide ramp.

I used to love this place but in the last few years it has really gone downhill. Last time I walked in the restaurant it had an awful smell and the wait was long when I finally was seated there was a cockroach crawling on the table with eggs on its back. I immediately got up and left. If you’re seeing a roach during the day then most likely there definitely is an infestation. Needless to say it is not a place I will be eating at anymore.

Okay let me just say that when I got my food is was hotish still but the issue I had was with delivery of the orders. I ordered the unlimited pasta but at no time was I able to even get a refill or new pasta order. No bread refills or salad refills. I understand kitchens have issues and the waiters get overwhelmed but if I’m spending money I want what I pay for. No refills on drinks, all the sweet teas that were delivered were unsweetened and with no ice. Really it was aggravating. My appetizer was the best thing I got.

First time I felt discriminated against for having kids. We went with a party of 20 and the restaurant was at half capacity. There were no parties waiting to be seated. Initially, they said the wait was 30 minutes but when we told them the number of kid menus the hostess said she needed to speak with the manager. After her discussion with the manager, the time changed to 2 hours. Worst experience at Olive Garden.

Worse Olive Garden. Service is horrible. They Don’t know how to communicate. What’s the point of reserving a table online? If once there they will it have your table and make you wait a longer wait time? employees is not even doing their job, right. Made us wait for over an hour then tell us another 30 min wait unbelievable I do not recommend this Olive Garden.

I had the pleasure to dine at Olive Garden at lunch today as had diamond as our server she went above and beyond what o have ever experienced I have celiac disease so I can not have gluten. Brittany the front of house manager came out as well to make sure what I can and can’t have and made sure to have the kitchen change gloves and prep food in area as much as to limit cross contamination. Burton the kitchen manager delievered my food to the table as well. Just amazing service. Thanks for making it greatDietary restrictions: Celiac disease

From the Moment I walked through the doors; My Experience Was Amazing!!! Everyone from the Hostess to The Bar Tender & Other Staff showed Me 💕 This was my 1st Visit! The Food was Amazing! 😋 I shall return! The Salmon ; brocollii & the dessert was delicious 😋 I had some sort of pastry with chocolate sauce! Yummy! Great Service & Warm Home Feeling! Thanks Guys! 😁

Went here last night to catch up with a friend. We were seated immediately, the food was great as always. However we felt completely rushed from the moment we sat down. After the server brought our drinks she immediately brought the salad and breadsticks without even asking if we were having soup. Dinner comes, I’ve taken two bites out of my meal, it’s probably been less than 10 minutes and she comes asking if we want a to go box or are we still “chilling”. We replied no, we were still eating our food. She told me she would get me a drink refill. She comes back with my drink in a Togo cup. This was my first refill of the night. She walks by again after 5 minutes and brings the Togo boxes and bags and makes the remark “okay still chilling” as we’re actively eating. We then just hurried up and finished our food to leave. There was many tables open so I’m not sure why she was such in a rush to get us out of there. It would’ve been nice to be able to relax and enjoy my food instead of feeling like I was in high school on a timed lunch.

The food was very good with lots of flavor. The waitress was great. I have ordered for pick up/take out since I visited the dining room previously. The experience for my take out was just as great. The young man who delivered to me at my vehicle was very attentive and polite. The food was just as delicious when I got home. Thank you all.

Went in at 12:09 on a Friday afternoon. Restaurant wasn't even close to half full. We sat until 12:25 with no one approaching. Our table. Waiters walked past multiple times. We even used the on table tablet to call a server twice. The call was canceled at some point from the first time and we put in a second call after no server showed up. We did try to put an order in through the tablet but no drinks came out either. We left at 12:26 having spoken to the hostess and no one else.

Went on 11/20/2024 and was very disappointed. As usual, whatever appetizer I want, they don't have. The breadsticks are not what they use to be. The breadsticks that we was served tasted like something out of the frozen section from Walmart. Some cheap brand. I have picked oit better bread sticks at cooked them at home. Service was great, the food, nah.

Disappointing lunch experience unfortunately. This used to be one of our favorite spots when I was a kid and we decided to come back for a quick Thursday lunch when we were out. We almost chose another restaurant and even ended up remarking during our lunch “service” that we probably should’ve gone there after all. Sat for 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from wait staff - totally understandable if they were packed, however I saw 4 different servers in our side of the restaurant and maybe 6-7 occupied tables. Our server did finally tell us, while stopping at another table, that she would be with us in a moment which is fine. When she came to our table, she offered to take our whole order. I ordered a strawberry limoncello margarita and the server carded me and we had a quick chat about it. Totally fine with being carded, but the issue is that I never got my drink until the end of the meal, after I had asked for the server to check on it and got a short “yes” in response. To the server’s credit, she did take the drink off but it was after a song and dance about how she rung it in correctly and it “didn’t print.” Despite the fact that we pulled our check on the table side tablet and it showed she rang it after our food… Wish that was the only issue to speak of, but unfortunately it doesn’t end there. Server takes our order and both of us order the soup or salad first. After taking our entree order she circles back with both of us to confirm if we want soup or salad… We’re both confused because we just ordered that and she appeared to be writing our soup/salad orders. We reiterate our orders and she goes to the kitchen. She then comes back to double check my order 5 minutes later. Our soup and salad shows up and my soup has no spoon, but she disappears before I can notice and ask for one. We also have no breadsticks. Or my margarita. No mention of needing to check on either. I flag a hostess, who kindly gets me a spoon. Entrees come and my grandmother’s grilled chicken is fried, and her “added broccoli” that we paid extra for is one piece of broccoli. Whatever, we’re trying not to complain but it’s getting comical at this point. We ask about breadsticks and are told “we’re waiting for some fresh out of the oven, you don’t want doughy breadsticks do you?” Not a comment I would normally expect a server to make but whatever. I ask for my margarita which is still missing and get just a “yes.” Okay. Margarita shows up - tastes like medicine. Good thing we’re not going to have to pay for it but still. Breadsticks finally show up during the last few bites of our meal (keep in mind we’ve seen several baskets on other servers’ trays as they walk by this whole time). When they show up, they’re clearly stale. Amusing. Then when we ask for the check, our server just points at the tablet on the table. I bring it to her attention that the drink is STILL on the check on the tablet. She says it shouldn’t be and I insist that it is. She disappears to take it off the check. Finally we get it resolved but we then have to wait 6-7 more minutes for her to bring the change because we were paying in cash so COULDN’T use the tablet to pay. Contemplated talking to the manager before we left but the atmosphere was very much “we don’t really care” across the whole restaurant. It’s a shame but no wonder that they’ve gone from packed during lunch time to relatively empty over the years.

I decided to do a spontaneous dinner date with my wife as we were both in different areas for the day. Play randomly decided on this Olive Garden as a meeting point. Turns out that it was a slow day in the restaurant. I don't recall our servers name but I will never forget the service. He was very attentive and well-mannered. We did not have to ask for a refills and he checked on us and appropriate amount of times. The food was very good and the calamari appetizer was every bit as good as the calamari I've had in Key West and in Maine

A dear friend took me to lunch for my birthday to OG yesterday. The service we received was fantastic. However, my food was another story. The absolute WORST Chicken Alfredo I have ever had. The fettuccine noodles were severely undercooked and clumped together. Hard in the middle and stuck to my teeth like plaster. Could not eat it. First time visiting this location and the last.
