Thought I would stop in really quick to get a meal while traveling between Florida and Alabama on a nice Sunday morning. To my disappointment, this restaurant took the cake.First of all, there is a yellow inspection certificate posted in the window at one of the entrances, and I noticed it right away, because the grading score was listed as 100, A. But there was a dead fly right there on that notice.Secondly, I noticed 4 individuals already waiting inside, and I can only assume they'd all ordered from the kiosk because there was no one at a register. I looked at the monitor and saw that there were about 5 orders placed at the drive through and 4 orders placed from inside, so I didn't think much of it just yet. I used the bathroom after placing my order at the kiosk. While walking to and from the bathroom, I noticed dead flies everywhere in the dining room. By now, I'd been in this restaurant for 10 minutes. I was watching the clock because I was heading home and wanted to arrive at a specific time.Third, I looked at the inspection notice again and there it was in plain sight. "It's a blank page." Nothing was circled, notated, written, signed, etc. I mean nothing! It's just posted in the window and unless you're vigilant, you are bound to miss it. There's no way that this restaurant had been inspected.Fourth, it was about 15 minutes in, when one young employee took a break (Q), as 8 other customers strolled in (mostly adults, 3 kids), who stood waiting for anyone to come to the register. After another 5 minutes, I kindly informed someone in their group of people that myself and 4 other individuals had been waiting on our orders and nothing has come out yet. One customer stated that she'd been there already for 30 minutes. The group of adults and kids did not stay too long, because no employee ever came to the register. (Overheard them speaking another language, so I can assume that they didn't want to use the kiosk, or maybe thought it would be quicker at the register). Who knows!Lastly, what took the cake for me was that I noticed one employee dip her hand in the pickles and eat a few on her way to the restroom. One guy, who I can assume was a Manager because of his uniform, kept apologizing. Said he'd give us a free apple pie or upgrade our orders for us. He stated that the evening shift had not come to work, and the new employee who had been recently hired, had not turned on the "thing to cook the buns" (paraphrasing). Apparently the morning shift had been on duty since 4:30am (what he said). There was a young employee by the first initial (Q), who did return after break and start issuing refunds, because after 30 minutes of zero, and I do mean zero food being handed to anyone, people started leaving. I do know the employee's first name that begins with (Q), but there's no need to spell it out. But nonetheless, thank you (Q) for returning from your break to issue refunds because it was only fair.I entered this restaurant at 11:14 am. I left with my refund at 11:42 am. I was the last to leave. By then everybody else had walked out or was refunded their money before me.Not to mention, the restaurant was dirty where customers usually dine, and there was water all behind the counter, on the floor, where employees were working the drive through window.I know COVID restrictions have been laxed, but this place needs a regional manager or someone to shut this place down before somebody gets sick from food poisoning. Not only did I write this review, I also have written a letter to their corporate office. Not for my sake, but for the safety of future customers.I don't recommend anyone visit this restaurant until it's been completely renovated! This is not a joke! And offer jobs to employees who really want to work. You mean to tell me that a whole evening crew of people were hired for the evening shift and nobody reported to work?! The morning crew seemed worn out.On a positive note: kudos to the employees who actually woke up and reported to work that Sunday, May 21st, 2023! Thank you all.
