McDonald's in Chalmette

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Of the 20+ different McDonald’s restaurants I have been to, this is BY FAR the absolute worst one. And that is truly saying something. I ordered at 12:37pm on 5/23. The guy taking my order was either whispering or their sound equipment just sucks. I legit could hardly hear him. Did my best to make out what he was saying. Told him I wanted a 10 pc nuggets meal. He asked what sauce, so I said BBQ and Sweet & Sour (which they of course got wrong when I got to the window). Finally, I got to the window at 12:45pm (you don’t even want to know how long I was waiting in line just to put my order in, but this part is fine because they were quite busy). Anyways, when I got to the window, the girl was absolutely awful & rude. Acted like she was too good to even talk. Like hello? If customers stop coming here then you won’t have a job. A little respect maybe? So usually my drink is the very first thing they give me, but on this occasion it was not. So I instinctually drove away when I was given my food and everything was in the bag. The girl yells out the window to tell me that I was leaving my drink (good on her part). So, I reverse a little bit to get my drink. She gives it to me. As I’m about to drive off she gives me this disgusting look and says “put your car in DRIVE”. Umm excuse me? Don’t tell me to put my car in drive, obviously I know how to drive or I wouldn’t be sitting here, you know… in the *drive* thru. You can tell your children what to do, but you don’t talk to me this way. Yes, I forgot my drink. Big deal? That doesn’t mean I forgot how to drive… I definitely do not need you yelling at me. If she put that effort into monitoring what was actually IN the bag, she would’ve noticed whatever the hell was on my chicken nuggets. At first glance, I thought this was just the inside of the chicken, since it was somewhat close to that color. However, I took a much closer look and realized this was a piece of cotton from someone’s clothing. Or at least something very reminiscent to it. Now that is GROSS. Who is doing the hiring at this McDonald’s?! Not only did the girl at the drive thru not have it together, but the person making the food either APPARENTLY. I was absolutely disgusted and couldn’t even eat any of it. I don’t know why my nuggets were given to me in 2 boxes either. One had 4 and the other had 6. Can’t get your employees together, your food, OR your inventory. This is just a McDonald’s for crying out loud. What is so hard??? DO. NOT. EAT. HERE. And if you suffer a major lapse of judgement and still choose to eat here after reading this, well… take a good look at your food before you actually consume anything. You’re welcome. Finished working a 13 hour shift, got off at 10pm, ordered ahead pickup at 10:15, got to curbside pick up at 10:20, it’s currently 11:05 and I’m still waiting for my food, everyone in drive through got their food but I had to wait a hour. Unbelievable, awful service. Started to think maybe they forgot about me so I stood outside my car as indoor was closed. Once again I made the mistake of going to a McDonald's. If you don't order online or use the kiosk you are out of luck. If your order wasn't right you are truly out of luck. We placed our online mobile order at roughly 12:45pm, got to McDonald’s at 12:55, at 1:10 we were confused as to why our food wasn’t out as we just ordered a $5 meal deal and Big Mac, everyone in drive through had already gone through (roughly 20 cars). My fiance went in to just ask about it and see if he could get it, it’s currently 1:23pm and I’m still waiting. It shouldn’t take 40 ish minutes for this order. At 1:25 my fiance returns to my car upset because they made him stand there for 20 minutes saying “it’s done, I’ll bring it out to you” while he has a broken foot. He gets fed up and returns to car, shortly after an employee brings out the food and never said a word to us, no apology for waiting at this point nearly 50 minutes for 2 burgers. 0 stars... paid for food on the app was told it was no longer breakfast time so I couldn't get my food and the ass hat at the window told me my money would be refund on the app that never happened so I paid for food I didn't receive....

Spent 28 dollars online for breakfast and the whole order was wrong. Went in there to see if they could fix it and they said oh sorry it's not breakfast time anymore.
