McDonald's in Boston

Food is standard McD’s. three stars for long wait at night - only to be told it’s cash only and orders should be placed at collection window. This made things even more tiring.Please mrs/mr manager, try ride through the drive-through system at 05:00am and hopefully sort it out. Thanks.

When I went into the restroom I saw there was no toilet paper and either stall Or locks on the stall doors. So beware to the world do not use the restroom at this McDonald's unless you want somebody to walk in on you while you're going to the bathroom or if you want to wipe your butt with your hand. But unless you have those two desires don't come to this McDonald's. No locks on either stall door or toilet paper in either stall. But then after that whole bathroom incident I waited 15 minutes for two McFlurries that was sitting on the counter the whole time. This place sucks

This past Monday I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru, was given the wrong order, then after correcting my order I drove home only to find mold on the bottom of my sandwich. This McDonald's location has serious issues, but this is a absolutely unacceptable. Never mind their service issues—they need to reevaluate their food safety practices.

12/5/18 I decided to go into Boston All By MYSELF to go Shopping. WELL, I'm terrible with directions even with a GPS mounted.I see up ahead a sign with McDonald's, Irving, & a couple more stores I can't recall.I had to get out& ask the gentleman washing the windows of Irving the exact address so I could put it in the GPS. Then I ask if I'm in Boston, POOR Man, looked at me like I have 2 heads& says w/a Smile "Yess Ms. we're in Boston.Then I went over to the McDonald's Store in this little cluster of stores, kinda at bnb the corner. I'd never seen Anything like that before, YET How Convenient! I went to get a coffee.

Service here is pretty bad. They mess up a lot. But they're the only nearby location. Atmosphere is pretty bad since they let local drug addicts hang around the drive thru and inside (when open) asking people for money and food. They are apparently closed for renovations but are willingly accepting orders through their app. Customer service to get a refund is basically non existent.

First of all, when your order make sure you pronunciation and clarify. Example “Only ketchup” gets you Extra ketchup. So they usually mess up my order it’s a 50/50 this time I didn’t check, the lady has the nerve to tell me I have to pay for extra sauce after I just spent $16 on a messed up order. There’s 20 nuggets, 2 sauces you’re crazy if you think I’m paying for 2 more sauces that should come with TWENTY NUGGETS. But I guess I’m expecting to much from a McDonald’s, does it really matter if you give me 2 extra sauces does McDonald’s not profit enough on their items (65% of their product price is profit after expenses & labor) that they need the $.50 give me a break. If you cared about your job as much as you cared about the $.50 you wouldn’t mess up peoples orders so much 🤡

Went there for breakfast, seen alot customers upset with orders, sitting area closed due to highly populated homeless in the area. Its so bad security helps with orders and touch food when they shouldn't due to not cleaning hand or wearing gloves.. Then recieved my food burnt even waiting 12 mins for. This place will stay open due to value never service

Ordered a coffee that’s it handed the kid some money, get my change kid spills half the change on the ground. Pull up to the next window wait, lady has me pull up and wait for door service for a coffee. Comes out with a large creamer basically was so white there was like no coffee, tell her I asked for regular cream and sugar not extra extra, comes back out coffee looks okay didn’t drink it probably spit in it. This place is terrible 99% of the time they charge you wrong or mess the order up, this is what you get when lazy workers get $15 an hour. Honestly anyone can sit and take orders and collect drive threw money. Just laziness and they don’t care.

I am so tired of ordering from this location and they always forget something!!! How do you forget a whole damn meal and it clearly shows on the receipt?!?! And forgot the sauces as well!!! The bags were sealed so it wasn’t a driver issue it was a restaurant issue!!! How hard is it to read an order?! How can I change locations in the door dash app?! The kids were so looking forward to this, turned out to be a huge disappointment!

This location is on the low-end side due to the neighborhood, plus you have high school running the placeIn rough areas to many homeless people and addicted don't make it easy or safe. If you Google this location, it will tell you it's 24 hoursBut I'll believe it when I see it.You decided.......?

Got the 2 for $3 and was charged $4.49. asked the person at the second window for help and she couldn't speak any English except to say she didn't know. Besides dodging the loiters and addicts at the drive thru window wasn't bad enough the cashier's can't count not speak English. No answer when you call. Worst McDonald's in the state. Never going back

Not a good choice for a family or someone who desires to relax and dine in before your travel continues or whatever your reason. The staff is not the most hospitable and they are short with everyone rrga of it being your first time at their location or multiple. The area is not a welcoming location either you must be very aware of your surroundings! Don't worry the rest of Boston is not so deplorable though!!

I had to use the bathroom desperately, only to find that not only had this McDonald's closed its interior, the Mobil station next door and the Speedway across the street had no public bathrooms. I finally found another bathroom blocks away, but don't understand why McDonald's had closed the inside. Only the drive-thru was open, so after I came back to my car I ordered large fries and enjoyed them in the parking lot.Parking: Many of the parking spots are reserved for curbside pick-ups, drive-thru pick-ups, or delivery drivers. There are a limited number of spots for the rest of the customers.

service is great, my orders are cirrect always. If your from out of town & not familiar with the area; you will see lits if panhandling, some fights, even though the city, & Boston PD have cleaned the area a lot, like, drastically BETTER BY 90%. Unfortunately, like all cities in USA, there are many mentally unstable people, addicts of all types, homeless men & woman & physically disabled. At this time last year, all around the "City Hospital" now know as "BMC Hospital" up & down street as soon as ur off the highway & enter the city over by the jail. Streets were filled with tents and hundreds of people. Be at a red light watching people shooting up drugs, others being revived by Paramedics, some in groups of nodding & almost falling over. The very mentally insane walking in circles talking to themselves. All sorts, & extremely filthy on all sidewalks. Now, have police every lot with a business posted in cars & trucks & paddy wagons. Instead of all streets in area if hospital, more like, an ally near the Mc Donalds. Just keep in mind, they are sick people, try to remain kind if they ask for money or something else. As most humans have been persinakky affected by menral illness &/or addiction or death. Its not hard to answer in a kind tone. Time is money, they'll keep it moving. My 8year old daughter took a dollar out if her wallet, then, rolled her window down, & handed it to the man who said he was hungry. The man began to cry & out of his mouth came nothing, but, gratitude. Remain mindfull. This city has an abundance of activities to offer. Sights to be seen. People & places to experience.

Went to this McDonalds to quickly use the restroom with my Fiance. We both had no idea the place was only open through drive through, so when we got to the entrance, the workers gave us dirty looks and said that they were closed.My Fiance asked them if we could use the restroom and they had simply said "No restroom".I understand that they were closed indoors, but we weren't there to dine in or eat. Just use the bathroom and leave.The workers were even just hanging out and standing around when there was a line of cars outside. I've never been to this McDonalds before. After that, I'm definitely not going back.

Never in my experience at going to restaurants, and knowing the pains of customer service, have i been so dissatisfied at a restaurant.This is quite possibly the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Me and my spouse just needed to use the restroom, and the staff gave the worst attitude, turning us away and not letting us in.That, and the rampant problem with drugged people around the premises made the place feel unsafe.The only reason why I'd give this place a one star, is to leave this review. This God forsaken McDonald's doesn't even deserve the nobility of being given even a single star, but id much rather give them the crumb of a good review, than to not let people to know to not support this McDonald's.

Drive thru service workers did not pay attention to detail. It was a short order and they gave us the wrong products as well as excluding an item. The loitering people were yelling over us into the communication box to confuse the order as well. The 20 piece chicken nuggets were either old, expired, or not cooked all the way. It was hard to tell what happened there, but had to throw them all away. We were never asked what type of sauce, but received three randoms which were reasonable. We ordered a hot caramel latte, repeated two or three times back in the order. But received a cold caramel latte with about 2 inches of caramel. It was gross. The Grandma’s McFlurry never made it out of the window to us and was also never mentioned as we drove away. The only highlight was the french fries which is hard to mess up naturally.

Was harassed by an addict who wanted me to put the money I gave her in her hand, can you imagine. The experience was so bad that I now have to think twice about giving homeless people money that ask. My car was blocked, banged on and spat on by the addict lady. It took security and the police intervention to allow me to leave the premises. I was hoping for the food that I ordered to make the bitter experience somewhat sweet but the quality of the food was the worst experience of any McDonald's that I can call to mind. I don't think I will go here again, until, maybe perhaps, if reviews improve.

Would be better off if this place just closed. Working nearby just trying to grab lunch. You’d think, since they don’t have any customers inside they could at least make the food quickly. They take at least 3x as long as any other McDonald’s I’ve been to on the last few months.At other locations, sometimes I place my mobile order as I’m pulling into the drive thru. By the time I hit the window it’s all ready.Here, I place my order, walk over(about 5 minutes) , browse the convenience store next door, buy a drink, walk to McDonald’s and it’s still not ready…

I have been to that McDonald’s several times every time I go there they cannot get my coffee right? All I asked for is an iced coffee with extra cream and six sugars. I get hazelnut coffee I get French vanilla coffee never just original coffee like I asked for. It’s not that hard to get one thing right maybe if they stay off the phone and stop playing so much they could do some work.

Food is the same at all, but you will have to wait a while to get it. Drive thru can be a nightmare!Not to mention NEVER ORDER UBER EATS FROM HERE. I've ordered from, here a couple times and they always seems to screw up( mixing and never sending an item)STAY AWAY

Paid for order at 5:02 am, after store supposedly was open, and never received food, staff refused to interact and give a reason except that I will need to contact my banking institution to request a refund when they are the ones that failed to toggle off their payment system if they weren’t going to be able to open. So, to recap, MCDONALD’s at 870 MASSACHUSETTS AVE TAKES MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS AND DOESN’T PROVIDE WHAT YOU PAY FOR or the courtesy of a sign that they are closed or a reason as to why they are taking money and not serving food. Completely outrageously inexcusable, unprofessional staff and customer service.

March 21 2024 @3:25pmAs I was waiting for my order I witnessed some unsanitary behavior from a worker who was on the fryer station making a french fries.. two large french fries boxes fell to the floor she then pick them up and instead of her place in them in the trash where they belong she put them on the counter instead. She didn't reach for a to go bag and put the bag over the two french fry containers that fell.. I'm watching I'm watching hard.. I'm watching hard because it was an immediate red flag as she didn't throw the boxes in the trash right away..so she then proceeds to remove the two boxes from underneath the bag then she puts the boxes right back under the fryer with the other boxes (but not before shuffling them up)😕 that the fries will be placed in. I told the manager..but this is bigger than the manager.. but just in case nothing was done about the lack of standards conducted at that McDonald's I felt the consumers needed a heads up and a choice.

Place is a dump. Never charge you correctly. And the bums own the parking lot. Absolutely a joke to try and drive thru. Bums at the speaker, bums at the windows. Bums at the windows of your car. And employees don't even pay attention that you arrive at the drive thru. Place is a joke! 6am ordering breakfast, I could only get one burrito. They had no more!

In this McDonald's there is no respect, the employees treat you like anyone, when you go to get an order they are not there because they give it to anyone and if you tell them to help you, the manager herself goes around and around and attends to everything except you. …. so many people in this country who want to work and those who are working there do not value their work... it would be perfect if they changed the staff that work in this company

Employees acted like I didn't even exist, as I stood waiting at the register to order for st least 10 minutes or more, while I watched them all have a conversation and joking around in the back kitchen area. I could see them, they could clearly all see me. Evidently, everyone is expected to use the kiosks to order and not interact directly with a human employee in any way, shape or form. This was just one of the times I entered this particular McDonald's, every other time was just as negative of an experience, employees are consistently rude, condescending, dismissive, etc.Kid-friendliness: Definitely would not recommend bringing children to that particular area of Mass Ave

The person at the drive thru was the rudest I’ve experienced ever. We were trying to order, and he kept interrupting, saying “can you just complete your order?” As if trying to rush us. We were trying to, but wanted more than one thing to feed our family of 4! Sorry for the inconvenience. 🙄 Then, even though they had the order correct on the screen, it was wrong when we got it. Will avoid this location from now on.

I remember this McDonald's in 2005 I think A Worker Sneezed On My Cousins Chicken Nugget We where in the Drive thru She Opened the box and There was a Big Round booger On 1 Of her Nuggets That was So nasty It wasn't a flat booger it was a Big round Nasty Big Booger I Didn't take a Picture though. The Booger was about the Size of The nugget The shape Looked like a semi circle

This location needs an overall inspection. Based on my experience, it's not in good condition to serve food. Also, the person taking the drive-thru order was under the influence of drugs and obviously was not fit to work that day. Waited 5 minutes for him to take my payment, I asked him to cancel my order since he couldn't figure out what he was doing. Went inside to place my order, the place was filthy, so I left. I can't understand how a place like this is still in business, serving FOOD.I don't recommend. I will definitely report this.
