McDonald's in Black River Falls

12/23 walked in and had to use the kiosk thing no employees up front. The lobby was gross garbage over flowing trash on the floor. Placed my order at 613 did not get my order till 640 everyday cold and gross burgers were made wrong. They are now forcing you to order food from a kiosk, not from a real person, and when you press the help button no one comes to help. This is ridiculous! And the food is overpriced and the portions are tiny. Just look at this triple cheeseburger, what a joke! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Got sick from undercooked food. Took a couple bites and found uncooked meat. The manager said they got a new stove top and they were still trying to figure it out. Would think this is something you would do before serving the public. A coworker of mine got food poisoning the same week from their chicken. Last Sunday night, I went through drive-through and ordered two meals and paid for it and was asked to park in a spot when we were already in the drive-through for 15 minutes. Then after we were asked to park, we waited another 20 minutes to get our food so that’s a total of 35 minutes. When I went into the restaurant to inquire about my food, the girl is coming out to hand it to us. It was very icy outside because it had been warm that day, and it cooled down the managers were now looking at the safety of their employees and she took a pretty bad fall. So I still went into the restaurant and helped her up to find out about the food because you know it was everywhere because she fell so when I talk to the manager, he was not aware of the times to the food or any explanation. I told him that his employee fell down and he needed to get salt on The sidewalk because somebody was really gonna get hurt. I just got like this blank stare from him. He couldn’t have been more than 20 years old so they never even remade our food because the burgers were intact. It was the fries that were spilled all over. I got my food. They offered a couple coupons or some free fries so I drove away to eat my food and it was cold. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a McDonald’s please make sure you check your food before you even leave drive-through and get the approximate time that they are going to give you your food when they make you park to wait for your food. Because if I’ve known that was going to take that long, I just would’ve went to a different restaurant, buyers beware! Hit or Miss, But the Best Coke in Town! This McDonald's can be a bit hit or miss, but overall, they do a decent job. They’re usually consistent with orders, though napkins are a gamble. If you're getting chicken nuggets, I recommend asking for them fresh, or you might end up tossing dinner instead of eating it. The Coke here is hands down the best in town, and while the wait can sometimes be longer than I’d like, it’s still not perfect, but not horrible for a McDonald’s! Black River Falls McDonald’s is the worst I’ve ever been in. I actually talked to their district manager Paul and he was gonna give me two free meals because the last time I was promised a free meal they never sent it to me and then when I went to pick it up and get the two that he offered, they said they didn’t have it written down cover and they refused to give me any and they were rude on top of it. So I stayed at the window waiting for somebody to come and apologize and nobody did so. They backed up at the drive-through and I don’t give a damn I’ve been to several McDonald’s and this is by far the worst. In fact, that is why the district manager (Paul) was there with some of his staff to retrain BRF management and staff on how to do their job. I went there about eight times a month but no more unless they get their act together. I’m tired of some portion of almost every order being cold (happens regularly). I go there mostly because I like their breakfasts. Other times my two grandsons consistently order the quarter pounder with cheese value meals and are unhappy that I refuse to take them anymore. When the district manager corrects all the issues that they seem to be having, I will try again on the condition that I receive an apology and am compensated with the equivalent free meals I was promised. I would highly recommend people go to Culver’s or Burger King right next-door as I would give each of them five stars as their staff and food are consistently better. Not gonna lie, most people haven’t been a huge fan of this place in a long time. However, it’s seemed more under control, clean, and the atmosphere has overall been warmer lately. Went at 3:30pm on a Monday. Wanted to eat in and enjoy a meal. Went to kiosk to order, and a dialogue box popped up saying "we are only serving orders to go"... I guess they are getting so streamlined and automated, they can't afford to hire anyone to clean their dining area. Needless to say, I walked out without ordering...I'm done with Mc D's. Chicken nuggets were warm, but were like rubber, fish sandwich was cold , the fries were hot, but looked like 2 guys were trying to run the whole show, so service was very slow. The staff was very cooperative and the lady at the counter went out of her way to help us with the order. Preparation was quite good.
