Construction company #2 was aghast at what was done---was never inspected, everything against code, etc. Company #1 refused to return any money. With skillful negotiations, Mr. Locurto was able to show them the error of their ways and why we'd prevail if we ever took them to court. They settled without us having to file. This took months, but Mr. Locurto never let up standing up for us and pushing. He kept us informed of our costs and worked very hard to keep our out of pocket at a minimum. And yes, we went into this furious, and he tempered our riteousness with logic. We were updated at every step and cc'd on all correspondence, so there was always the feeling of working as a team.
