I was in a pretty bad car accident that involved several cars. I was taken away by an ambulance and needed to focus on healing. Rather than having to deal with any of the insurance or hospital bills or other stuff dealing with the accident- I was given the piece of mind to focus on healing and trying to get back to my life while the team at Tavss Fletcher took care of everything else.

I engaged Tavss, Fletcher firm. At every step they were professional and caring. It was a long process from an investigation, to collection of information and dealing with a lot of companies to fruition.This my first real experience with a lawyer or law firm.John Fletcher, Kerrie his assistant and Debbie who handled the investigation were a solid team that looked out for my best interest. I would recommend them.

I met Besianne on July 27, 2022, for my initial consultation. She came highly recommended through another attorney, whom I'd consulted with. Upon meeting with Bes, I was scared, angry, nervous, and unsure of how I was going to get through this divorce process. During initial my consultation, Bes was very attentitive to me, my emotions, my needs, and she understood how extremely nervous and lost I felt. I was filing for divorce, after being married for almost 23 years, at the time and this was going to be a drastic change for me. Let me start by saying before our consultation was over, I knew she was the attorney for me. Bes assured me that I would be fine, we would get through this together; and not only did I believed her, I could FEEL it!! Bes has literally taken me by the hand, and guided me every step of the way throughout this entire divorce process. She has ALWAYS made sure I was comfortable, she keeps me informed throughout this entire process, she tells it how it is, which I have a great appreciation for! Hired this firm to collect on a debt owed. Dealt directly with attorney Ryan Graves. 1. Dragged the case for additional billing. 2. Refused to follow my directions on obtaining a judgement. 3. Billed me to revise his own mistakes. 4. Wrote the judgement in a way that obligated me to continue to be ripped off by the firm he works for. 5. 4 days average turn around for any response. 5. Completely unethical charging me to review my email complaining about the inaccurate billing. 6. Receiving billing on 10/01/23 for alleged work performed in 02/23. Was told that the defense would cost me $2000.00. Up to date I have paid this unethical attorney approximately $3300.00 (over 50% than estimated) I would strongly recommend to not use this firm based on my own personal experience. I have decided to pay what I hope to be the final invoice and continue my complaint with the BAR association of VA.

Attorney Pagel didn't follow the code of conduct for the ABA nor Stardards to govern GALs in my child custody case. She ignored all evidence given to her including that my child was being abused. She ignored my emails and phone calls and did not contact me once for a home visit or to discuss the facts in my case. One star is one too many!

I recently went through a difficult custody battle, and I'm incredibly grateful to have had Bes Tavss Fletcher by my side. Don’t ignore the reviews. This group lazy and just out for your money. They failed to file for my divorce by the due date and then claimed they tried calling me. When I asked what was the number they tried calling, they told me a phone number that I had never given or was on my file. They will lose your case and you will lose more if not all in the end because of them. Don't waste your time or money.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this firm!! The whole team at this location have been amazing to myself and my family.They truely care about your past, present and what you want for the future. We still have alittle bit to go-- but I know this team will do their very best to make sure me and my family are set up for success.

Scott Flax is nothing but the truth!! He knows the law & will fight for his client! His confidence in his own knowledge, his demeanor and care for his clients is unmatched! I was wrongfully seized by police and Attorney Flax exposed the officers for their wrong doing. Charges were dismissed!! I thank God for Attorney Flax!! He is HIM!!

Most of what I need is small stuff. Mr. Graves has always treated me with respect, given me his time, been on time for meetings. I can trust Mr. Graves to give me his honest, legal backed, opinion, this is such a God send. Mr. Graves fast action and sound advice have given me reason to trust the firm for any other issues I will have coming up. I recommend Tavss Fletcher specifically for that reason. They've also been honest if I need to be referred out, since obviously firms specialize like doctors. I'd rather have someone send me to a specialist and know what they do best. These people lost the last sheet of our Power of Attorney document, thereby nullifying the entire thing. They also lied about taking the document apart. An email they sent proves this. They never took responsibility, and since my mom can no longer sign documents, we had no choice but to file as her Conservator. Thousands of dollars down the drain, and now consistent harassment from the Commissioner of Accounts.Bottom line: ZERO competence, NO sense of responsibility, NO sympathy for people who work hard to keep their ailing relatives at home where they belong. There’s no rating LOW ENOUGH for these people.

Working with Besianne Tavss Maiden has made working through a difficult time much easier. Divorce, separation, and child custody is never easy for anyone but knowing that you can call your lawyer and your questions and concerns will be answered in a timely manner is like having a weight lifted off your shoulders. I called hoping to get legal help and a man named Derek Turitea ( Chuck name) had a very nasty attitude and was very ignorant with my on the phone, you can tell he either had a ruff day or he just hates his life( most likely that). Well he then hung up on me before I could set up an appointment with any of the attorneys. I have a serious legal case and you could have made money but you most certainly lost my service for LIFE. WhyWpartner with an evile person???I am also reporting this company to the Legal Hyatt program AND THE BBB or wherever I can because nobody deserves to be disrespected nor treated unfairly. Because that's EXACTLY what Derek ( company partner) did.

Beware of Tavss AND probably stay away from ANY Law firm that accepts Prepaid legal service referrals:To save money I have been utilizing Prepaid legal services (i.e. Legal Shield) for a number of years now over multiple states. I have had many interesting dealings with firms who contract or accept referral from prepaid legal services directly or from legal service law firms that refer to a law office such as Tavss. With that said, both myself and a friend used our legal service which referred us to Tavss for 2 completely & independently different matters at different times. I have learned the following: 1. That the quality of the work of the "provider law firm" (which is the primary firm) is almost always average to below average. 2. The quality of the attorney's and the firm you are referred to outside the provider law firm (such as Tavss) is also average to below average. I have come to this conclusion after consistently using these services for about 20 yrs now in multiple states. THE ISSUE: How does this relate to Tavss performance as a law firm? QUESTION: If they are such a successful law firm why are they accepting referrals from various different prepaid legal services??? THE ANSWER: 9 times out of 10 the reason is these firms are struggling in some small or major part and they need money maybe for advertising or they need to feed their attorneys or something else. Keep in mind, its NOT just that they want more money… they need more money. Big Difference. Truly successful law firms DO NOT NEED referrals from prepaid legal services. They just don’t. I hear Tavss on the radio or TV fairly consistently, which is smart and expensive, so that maybe an indicator as to why they are accepting legal service referrals. IMPORTANT QUESTION: How long have they been accepting these referrals? Did they always accept these referrals? If not, when and why did they start accepting them?...This leads to the primary issue which is the QUALITY OF THE ATTORNEY: Consistently, consistently, consistently, the attorneys that I have dealt with (and I now see it with my friend who has a completely different prepaid legal service BTW) either with a "provider law firm" AND ALSO the referral law firm, assign attorneys who are just average AT BEST. I have NEVER worked with one attorney that seemed to be truly bright or on the rise, or on top of their game at any point, and neither has my friend who has a completely different prepaid legal service through her job. Again we both got referred to Tavss for different reasons for different services and I always thought it was just my service but hers is the same, average to below average quality work and experiences with attorneys. WHERE DOES TAVSS FIT IN? They want these referrals. They accept these referrals but the quality of the work is CONSISTENTLY average to poor. There you go. ANOTHER AMAZING FACT: EVERY SINGLE TIME I have used a law firm that has NO affiliation with a prepaid legal service, the quality of that firm’s work is on a whole other level AND vastly superior to any firm that I have worked with who accepts prepaid legal service referrals such as Tavss. HONESTLY! The reality of the results for 20 years now is ASTOUNDING. Just thinking back on 20 yrs of work it is night and day! THE POINT: If the work you need is extremely important to your life and future...I recommend that you DO NOT USE a law firm such as Tavss that is accepting referrals from a prepaid legal service b/c after 20 years AND using legal service referrals in multiple states mind you, it is clear to me that the firms that do that, CLEARLY ARE NOT TOP LAW FIRMS. Be careful! AND please check out these attorneys before you contract for their services b/c they maybe rookies or bottom of the barrel, and that could hurt you badly, and potentially drastically alter your future. You will get what you pay for, AND your percentage of a performance screw up by a firm like Tavss that is accepting legal service referrals IS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than a legitimate top notch firm that doesn’t need these referrals.

I went thru a divorce, which just got finalized on 10/17/23. Ryan Graves was my lawyer for this. If you are a guy, and need a good divorce lawyer, do not go here. After our initial interview, the only call I have received in over a year from Mr. Graves was to verify the legal insurance claim number so he could get paid. With regards to the settlement, i sought Mr. Graves' legal insight on to what was fair. He used the divorce calculator and that is all. No kids involved, she had a business, but choose not to work, etc. I am paying a higher percentage to her then what I've seen any peers have to pay that includes paying child support. I think it's too much, but I'm not totally sure. It's not that I was given bad legal advice, I wasn't given any legal advice in this. I was sent a form to sign and notorize, with no prior discussion, so that divorce papers would be served to lawyer vice me. This was a completely blank form, nothing filled in. When i asked about it, the form was resent with appropriate blocks filled out. No explanation or apology. I have had to ask repeatedly to get any information on status of paperwork. I finally got signed separation agreement (2 months after the fact) after asking for it. The divorce was finalized on 10/17/23. The only reason I know this is, is that my now ex-wife emailed me the signed copies of the decree. I still haven't seen anything from Mr. Graves.Update: 3/11/24. I have still not heard from the law firm about the status of my divorce. Utterly unprofessional as well as pathetic.

A Lawyer without equal, Case managers that always look out for you and would come to your house to talk about your case when you're not even able to talk over the phone. There's no law firm with the commitment and determination to win like TavssFletcher. When I almost lost my life in a crazy crash due to another driver's reckless driving behavior, their insurance company was telling me " ... okay Mr. Scapegoat, we'll pay the blue book value of your car to your bank, and if you're lucky any change that's left, we will give that to you." I asked them "... so how do I buy another car? How about all the pain and suffering? How about my lost wages for the time I missed work? The hospital bill and ... everything?" I didn't know what to do until I found TavssFletcher. They taught the stingy insurance company a lesson that they will never forget. When something like this ever happens to you, all I can say is don't talk to any insurance agent, just call TavssFletcher and relax.
