Our initial communication early on went well but when "crunch time" came between Realtors, lenders, and the seller's attorney we felt that It took much much longer than we was acceptable to get what we needed in the way of paperwork from our representation back to the sellers attorney. Our circumstance was unique as we were friends with the seller, so there was a bit more transparency in this real estate transaction. I finally ended up having to get into the car and drive to the law office of Mr Jacobson and "introduce" myself in person and inquire as to why our recent inquiries were not being replied to? The responses were not acceptable. It became my opinion that they were too busy to accommodate us and given the fact that interest rates were quickly climbing and climbing, we decided that it would be of great benefit to us to drop the law firm and move over to a different one. In doing so, we experienced communication in a timely fashion with which expedited the process and gave us peace of mind. Peace of mind above all.
