Do your homework and ask a very important question, "If you provide him with the money what does that get you?" After my interaction with Richard I contacted a couple of other attorneys. These people provided the consultation just as he did. The only difference is they immediately told me, only by retainer would they take the case. Richard on the other hand strung me along until he got the money then said no it was too much work without a retainer. My point is, he knew it was too much work from the very beginning.
