A few weeks went by with no contact, and I reached out again. Slowly, we began to go over details of my case. Christy Payne, Ramona's assistant, was extremely unhelpful and frequently gave me inaccurate information (I would go directly to the Social Security Administration website and find that she had given me false or contradictory info, or I would call the SSA directly and they would give me the correct info). When I would tell her what I found, she was very condescending and dismissive towards me, claiming that I was mistaken. Christy even requested I bring paperwork directly to her because she could not figure out how to print documents I emailed her- even though she admitted she could access them just fine on her computer! Christy's rude behavior to me felt quite demeaning. I knew I was wasting my time with someone who could be so belittling to a person who genuinely needed help. I am very relieved to not be working with them. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating and a complete waste of energy & time.
