Everything was failing, including the slides and the AC, in the sweltering 90+ degree Fahrenheit temperatures, and my youngest kiddo began to overheat, his temperature rising to almost 102 on that hot summer day without AC!! Don’t worry, my little guy was ok. Once Alex got our slides to work and replaced a problematic fuse so our AC would work again, we met him at his garage bay to have the work completed over the next 24 hours while we stayed in a hotel nearby. Alex was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and very transparent about pricing and what the plan was for my vehicle. He spoke to my husband over the phone to inform him of the plan. He gave me tips about things to be cautious about in the future in order to avoid another vacation fiasco! He also gave me a recommendation of a competent mechanic I should look into for my go-to-mechanic needs in my home state! All-in-all, the experience of hiring “Alex, the mobile mechanic” was a relief and a pleasant one, and I like to think that not only did I find a reliable and trustworthy mechanic on the go, but I made a new friend in the process, (even if he initially doubted my RV reversing skills at the campsite, but quickly changed his mind, hahaha). Also, his piercing blue eyes were gorgeous to look at while he spoke about mundane RV topics!
