I met with Bryan three times, the first to make sure of what I was asking for. I ended up with a VERY comprehensive package. A will, living will, power of attorney, HIPA, and finally a trust for my house, bank and retirements accounts as well my property. I also purchased a will, living will, power of attorney, etc. for my son.
The second meeting was just for ME, for showing the documents I would be getting, and explaining in detail anything that I had questions about. The third meeting was for signing the documents that we went over in the 2nd meeting. Smooth, easy, and stress-free.
What I was NOT expecting was how comprehensive the package is. Take my attempt at my own living will, for instance. What I had not thought of was WHO decides if and when I am "incapacitated." Legacy Law made a clear team to decide. And that is just one surprise out of many that Bryan has covered in detail in writing. Trying to do this on my own? Not a chance.
