All I needed was a rent to own contract. The lawyer began to ask me about my income and were I work, when not even the owner of the property asked me about it.
He was asking me where I was from and what country I was born in. Which has nothing to do with drawing up a contract.
He did not want to do the contract, using the excuse that there's another person living in the property. He said, I was going to waste thousands to get it done.
Then he exited me through the back of the building.
This lawyer thought he was slick and I wasn't going to see through him. The way he handled things was not adding up.
His job was only to write up the contract and any agreement between two parties has nothing to do with him.
I went to go see another real estate lawyer and was able to get a contract written up, without being asked questions that had nothing to do with the contract.
Fyi, it didn't cost thousands like this lawyer said from this firm.
