What we didn't count on was this coming into play in our settlement. The insurance company knew this, and low balled our case. Then proceeded to laugh at us when Mark Doughty's office asked for more money by raising their offer by $1.
They knew he would not take it to court, and thus we were left without option.
He tried to pass us off to another lawyer who told us to file a small claims suit against the driver, but Mark Doughty insisted that was a bad idea... and dropped us.
Now, so much time has passed... no lawyer will take the case.
