Anywho, my divorce finalized 2020… the very last thing that needed to be done on my ex husbands side (which needed to be done by Chris Smith and is court ordered to be done by Chris Smith) is STILL not done. It’s a simple QDRO that needs to be submitted with regard to my ex husbands 401k and pension. I’m sure Chris Smith had hoped that I would forget about it. But, don’t worry. I haven’t. I also have all the emails and documented communication between him, and my excellent lawyer at the time (who is actually a Judge now because of how bomb she is), as well as the lawyer preceding my lawyer reaching out trying to get this done. TWO YEARS LATER! I’m sure my ex husband has already paid him to do the QDRO. Probably has paid him for it multiple times at this point. But, here we are, 2 years later and he’s still not done his job. This man is a joke. And yes, his response to my review is correct, he represented my ex husband, but the majority of our divorce was spent trying to figure out where Chris was, why he hadn’t done the things he said he’d do, where my ex husbands money was going with regard to paying Chris, because it DEFINITELY wasn’t going towards any progress. So, 2 years later, I stand by my review. Because honestly, Chris Smith has proven my point year after year and will continue to do so until he’s finished his job. His response “doing all I can”, oh- he does all he can. To bleed every last drop of money out of his clients, I will give him credit for that. He does do that well. He gets one star for that!I’ll check in again next year! Stay tuned! 😊This man is NOT my lawyer. Speaking as someone who has had to deal with him as opposing council- I will say this- if you are looking to have a normal divorce, don’t go to this man. If you are wanting to have a divorce that cost a phenomenal fee for just the every day person, (Not a celebrity, or doctor, or anyone that has mass quantities of wealth) , then this is your guy. He will avoid you. Not answer the phone. Not answer emails. Not even follow through with the court mandated procedures he is supposed to do. And while he is NOT doing all of those things.. he’ll charge you substantial fees. So if you have money to burn just for the hell of it, call his office. They’ll be sure to tell you that he’s out for a family emergency that’s been apparently happening for 2 years now. Then charge you to waste your time.Me again! 😌 it’s 2024… 4 years after my divorce and guess what guys!! HE STILL HASNT DONE THE QDRO! I wish I had some eloquent words to add to this review but I just.. don’t. Pathetic is the only word I shall offer at this point.
