, I rehired Ms. Gallagher for another legal matter I was facing… once I explained the situation during consultations she agreed to take the case, however it was in another borough and she still took the case and she stated the fee would be doubled because of the distance.
I really didn’t think it was fair but I paid it anyway because she was so diligent, tenacious, and helpful in my previous legal matter.
Nonetheless she only showed up once and that was for me to turn myself in.
Once more information became available to move forward after sometime, she abandoned me and offered to talk me through a filing process which I didn’t think was fair because she was already paid 10k to do the job.
I asked for half of my money back because she hadn’t really done anything for the case because I wasn’t charged with any crime and was released from the police station. I asked for half of my money back and was denied 🙅🏽♀️ because at that point she stated it became a flat rate which is false!!!!!! Never once was that stated during our consultation…..
She only returned 2k to me and I still don’t think that’s fair for one trip to Brooklyn. I’m not trying to bad mouth her just saying my truth…..I know I was done wrong even if no one else agrees with it, and it hurts my heart and soul because I truly trusted and believed in Megan. I was always understanding of her time and all that she was dealing with…. She knows it!!!!!!!!
8k for a few hours from Nassau and Suffolk counties really??????? Jesus take the wheel!!!!!
