Read MoreThis attorney was one of the most rude, disrespectful, idiotic, uncompassionate, men that I’ve ever encountered in a “professional” legal setting. I was literally under severe emotional distress, talking about a case where I was hushed like an animal, screamed obscenties at for now reason, and left in a cabin alone in the woods with no food - on purpose. The issue I brought into his office was so simple, as I had done all of the legwork FOR HIM to make his life easier, and he spends the first 10 minutes questioning as the validity of my story as the whether or not, I actually met with Paul Hagerman two days ago about another pending harassment case. He had the nerve to waste my time going down a road that I did not want to go down, calling into question why I was at that office two days prior, and not in a nice, interested way. Why would I lie about this? Why does he care? Is it impossible for a woman to actually successfully navigate the legal justice system to get the justice that she deserves? Unheard of, apparently. And who cares about the emotional distress clearly suffered from a severe cyber harassment case.
As I am trying to calm myself down from having an attorney I WAS HIRING, not the other way around, he literally tells me that I won’t shut up as I am trying to calm myself down before going into a massive panic attack. Ever heard of PTSD? Have you not been challenged before that would perhaps you were in the wrong? Just because slides through law school and passes the bar does not make them a good attorney. I am surrounded by attorneys in my life, and this was far UNACCEPTABLE treatment of a potential client, clearly who (me) walked in the door just fine, and left in utter emotional distress, and rightfully so. I slammed the door behind me I was so angry. So I went from positive, to confused, to baffled, to irritated beyond belief. This man has a complex. If you have a brain, please do not use him. You are smarter than he is, and that is the last attorney that you would ever want on your side. He is so arrogant, but also, so not intelligent at the same time it’s painful.
**Also, not in a very nice building at all, so that should have been my first sign. Oh yes, then he didn’t even have my name, right. It’s really pretty simple. Maybe he was having a bad day, but my intuition says no. I will take responsibility for the failure on my part to listen to Google and not ask other people.***
