Read MoreI was looking into the Belleau Family Law Group for representation for my divorce. After visiting their website and reviewing their domestic violence policy, I felt this was the right law group for me. Unfortunately, my research found that their paralegal has a current domestic violence charge. I feel it is hypocritical to have a policy on domestic and have a paralegal who is entrusted to help me during this process has the same charge that I am currently dealing with. Makes me wonder what other unethical practices they are getting away with or hiding. Needless to say, I will not be going with this Law Group
Just to clarify, I was never a client, the law group was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I took the time to do my own research on the staff. That's how I found the paralegal's domestic violence case- which is public information. I even sent e-mailed to express my concerns in the event I decided to go with this law group since you were so highly recommended but did not receive a response. I believe people deserve transparency and shouldn't be misled about your values and polices you have in place, as stated on your website.
