She meticulously took down notes to put the pieces together, and various paths were laid out before me. This empowered me to still have control over the direction to move forward with. I much appreciated this, as it's important to consider the lifelong impact of the path taken. She was respectful that it is my children's lives, along with my own, that are impacted by decisions made.
