Had an absolutely phenomenal experience working with Mr. Marc Laforce and the entire team at Global Crossing Immigration was instrumental in my successful entry into Canada. While I am not a criminal by any means, I did have a recent reckless driving on my record as well as a "released to parents" slap on the wrist from when I was 14; while these are often overlooked as misdemeanors in American society, the Canadian Parliament is a lot less lenient.Often, minor offenses committed in the U.S. may be considered the equivalent of felonies in Canada, and so before heading off to meet my fiancee's parents (which was obviously a huge deal to us), I set out to find the best Canadian Immigration Attorney - and that's where I found Attorney, Marc Laforce. Obviously I was looking for something streamlined, simple, and of course someone who knew the law here in the US as well as in Canada, and had a successful track record of being able to grant you entry into Canada using a variety of different legal means. For me, it was a TRP, or Temporary Resident Permit, which is basically a "pass" (with an expiration) that says you are free to enter Canada at the border, based on what you or your attorney has provided and what shows up on the Canadian systems at the border.Post 9/11 the Canadians have full access to American records, DMV history as well as your pertinent passport info and most anything else you can think of. Knowing this was the case, I wanted to find the best attorney that had the best chance of granting me access into Canada. From the first free email consultation to the well-priced phone conversation with Marc Laforce, everything was extremely professional and handled in a very streamlined fashion. Shortly after getting the details of my cases, Marc put me in touch with Kerin Dippel in his office, and I could not be more grateful. Kerin has a very successful track record (as does Mr. Laforce's entire office), and I was quick to produce every document she asked for. It was all done very efficiently, over both phone and email and I was always kept in the loop with Marc and the team through their Executive Assistant, Shelby Mora (who was also very much on-point and knew the details of my case). Finally, and after paying for a flight to British Columbia, making plans to meet my fiancee's parents, doing the whole Christmas thing, etc... I was granted successful entry into Canada solely based on the help received from Marc Laforce & Co. at Global Crossing Immigration. I called as soon as I was given my TRP (good for 1 whole year based on my circumstances!), and let the team know that the Canadian Officer at the border told me that he's happy to have me in Canada and that he has never seen a better put-together file in all his years of working the desk. Needless to say, I'm extremely grateful to Marc Laforce and the entire team at GCI, and that I will remember them for life.I don't often write reviews unless compelled, but given how worried I was about getting into Canada prior to finding them, I want to let others know about them. Definitely give them a call if you're considering getting in. Since we first worked together, Global Crossing Immigration has also helped quite a few of my friends with a DUI get into Canada, so definitely give them a call if you need entry.
