We can't praise them enough nor can we ever thank them enough for all their hard work and dedication to our case. The entire team at GED Lawyers was helpful, hard working and thorough. Our story is one that not even Hollywood writers could think of and come up with. We are victims of hurricane Michael. Hurricane Michael made landfall in the panhandle of Florida on October 10th 2018. It took 1,284 days from the date that hurricane Michael hit and damage our house until the date that we received our final checks for our claim and our losses and we wouldn't have been able to receive the money for our claim if it weren't for all of the hard-working individuals at GED lawyers. Between being jerked around by our homeowners insurance Florida Specialty Insurance Company for almost a year after the initial claim was filed, to then hearing that the insurance company Florida Specialty Insurance was filing bankruptcy in the state of Florida due to the number of claims that they had open from their own customers, to then dealing with a state agency Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) to handle our existing and still open claim, to trying to do anything during the COVID-19 pandemic and a nationwide shutdown (especially for governmental agencies) for anywhere from 14-20 months (depending on where you live). We were ALWAYS being kept up to date by the entire crew at GED lawyers. There were times where we were on the verge of losing confidence in the process of getting the money we were owed and desperately needed to cover the repairs that we needed to do to our house, but the lawyers and staff at GED lawyers were there to talk to us and to answer any questions that we had at any point along the way. And there were quite a few points along our way where we contacted GED lawyers and spoke with the staff and the lawyers to ask questions to get updates to get reassurances about our case. And at no point in time where we ever made to feel by the staff at GED lawyers that our case was on the back burner or second class or forgotten about or not being handled with the utmost importance and care. It took 1,284 days from the date that we experienced our loss until the date that we received the final checks and the payoff for our loss and our claim, and GED lawyers was right beside us from the the moment that we signed the papers to have them represent us, all the way until the very last moment where we finally received the payments, and we couldn't be more thankful and appreciative for everything that they did for us. They went above and beyond every step of the way and did everything that they could to make sure that we were aware of what was going on and if they didn't have an answer for one of our questions they made it a priority to find out and to get back with us to answer our questions accurately and as quickly as possible. For all these reasons and more, we will be forever thankful and appreciative of the entire staff at GED Lawyers. If they can handle our weird and crazy claim, then I'm confident that they can handle anything that they take on, and because of this we will recommend them to everyone we can, everytime we have an opportunity.
