But having needed an attorney, at one of the most difficult times in my life, I can be honest, God could
not have sent me (or allowed me find) anyone better.
Having had substantially insufficient representation, from a different attorney, at the beginning of my
case and for over a year into it, I knew I needed a change.
My prior attorney simply wanted me to plead guilty, as there was “No way…” I was ever going to get a
fair trial, a better deal, an acquittal, etc…etc.
That prior attorney would slam his fists into the table at our meetings and, literally, yell at me that he
was doing everything he could, when I knew full well that he wasn’t.
That prior attorney would not answer written correspondence, phone calls to his office or even give
answer to my concerns during our personal meetings.
All of that changed the day I met Mr. Days.
Immediately upon my introduction to Mr. Days, he wanted to know what I wanted and how I wanted to
proceed.
He listened to me and my concerns. Not only concerns regarding my case, but regarding my future, my
family and my reputation.
Mr. Days was frank with me. He was forthright and, not to put too fine a point on it, honest with me
when I was misguided in the law or just simply wrong about something. He was sincere, honest, and
genuinely I could tell, wanted the best for me.
Mr. Days worked diligently to provide me with any and all information. He provided me with case
information I was not even able to obtain from my previous attorney.
Mr. Days puts the work in and provides you the comfort in knowing your case is at the top of his mind.
Your case means something to him, and you will never have to be reminded of that because it is clearly
evident.
I’ve called him “Mr. Days” a lot in this letter, but what I truly want to say is that without Marc, I don’t
know where I’d be. The possibilities are endless. I doubt that I would be here today. In fact, I would be in
custody based on the work of that previous attorney.
I can honestly and sincerely say that Marc is why I’m here…with my family, with my friends, with my
employer and continuing to be a productive member of society.
