During this time, and on behalf of my consumer products company, Chris successfully wrote and filed a U.S. utility patent for my product, as well as utility patents all over the world -- all of which were awarded. The thing that stands out about Chris to me is that he never gives up, and always finds a way forward. Whatever obstacles the various patents offices threw in front of us, Chris powered through them. The latest example is our Chinese utility patent, which was just awarded after many years of challenges. We had given up on ever getting a utility patent in China, but Chris never did. As a result, we will now be able to go to the source of the knock-offs made there and hopefully get them off the market. Chris has an incisive mind, attention to the thousand details involved in a patent, and a calm, gentle manner -- all terrific attributes in a process that can be difficult and mind-numbing.
