With his prior background as a police officer, as she shared the details leading to the charge, it helped him to understand further some background and he knew immediately what actions to take!
He was upfront and clear with the actions she needed to take, flexible on times to meet and always timely! Chris was respectful, honest and forthcoming. It was clear to her and I, she was in expert hands from the first call!
She is just starting out in her career journey and due to the nature of the charge, it could impact her future devastatingly if not handled properly!
Chris worked to accurately represent and explain the facts and series of events of her case. He prepared her for the possibility of a bench trial, reviewed what that may look like, even in the unlikely event that it would get to that point. He helped to reduce the fear she (and I) had by preparing her for all the possibilities, even though he was very confident it would be dismissed.
