Read MoreI was searching for an attorney to help me understand what I needed in order to prevent my children from probate. I reached out to an attorney that I knew immediately was not the right one because I did not comprehend anything she explained on a scheduled, limited, Zoom call.
My friend initially told me an attorney in Alachua took care of her estate, and Ladybird Deed. She didn't reveal the attorney's name. I thought she was being secretive. I finally discussed my frustration with the attorney that I initially sought out. My friend then revealed to me Attorney Susan Mikolaitis. She expressed how Susan explained everything in laymen terms. She said she thought she had disclosed Susan's name. I slept better that night!
I made up my mind to call the office of Bingham and Mikolaitis. The best decision I could have ever made. Susan returned my call expendently. I told her how I did not want my children to have to endure probate after I'm no longer alive. She explained so eloquently what needs to happen and how she could definitely help me. I told her I want to meet in person...no Zoom! Absolutely, was her reply. My appointment was scheduled. Susan gave me easier directions than Waze to get to her office.
My sister and I were greeted with enthusiasm. Susan and her staff made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. Susan has completed my paperwork and now she is working on another job for my siblings and me.
I thank God for my friend who referred me and I thank God for Susan who helped me to understand the assignment as she explained it so well.
I definitely will recommend Bingham & Mikolaitis to my family and friends!
