When my mother requested an accounting of the estate finances from Mr. Burkett, which he must provide upon request as per NYS Law, he ignored her repeated requests for 3 months..she then notified him that she had no choice but to report him to the Bar Association, his response was as follows: "we have determined that an accounting is not necessary ...and any attempt to intimidate, threaten ,or bully me will be considered harassment..your communication with me will no longer be answered..signed James R. Burkett of BARTLET, PIONTIFF, STEWART and RHODES Glens Falls, NYMr. Burkett is currently under investigation by the Bar Association for unethical behavior towards my mother
