I received a letter informing me of a threat to sue on 4 counts, plus an additional legal action, if I did not take immediate actions within 24 hours. Without being a lawyer myself and with no experience with "being sued" and the court system, it was very important to me to have direct advice to arrive at the best solution for myself and my family. We settled for what by many accounts was an "unfair amount," but it was transparently discussed along with the potential risks and rewards and what to expect.
