I was contacted by Bryn Deb of A2B Legal who was responding to my request for help in a court case. There are 5 specific areas in which I rated Bryn's service 1. Attitude-5 2. Response time-4 3. Negotiation ability-5 4. Payment arrangement options-5 5. Overall customer service-5 Bryn read my case information and questions which I entered into a website over a weekend a few weeks ago. She responded the following business day. She allowed me to explain my situation and let me know that she typically handles my type of case for $500. All I really needed was for an attorney to let me know how to respond to the action taken against me or walk me through negotiating terms in order to come to a favorable solution. I told Bryn that while $500 was doable I would need to pay in 2 installments to start a week from the date we spoke. Something in her told her to accept my terms although she had been burned in the past. That was the first action of hers that really made me feel at ease in a stressful situation. Bryn immediately went to work on advocating on my behalf. She was able to secure a verbal agreement (first) from the attorney and later, a formal stipulation outlining everything I needed and more. There was a small lapse in communication; but I chalk that up to the brevity of time available to come to an amicable agreement/solution. Perhaps, in this case (little time), contact only via phone (rather than email and phone) is best. Finally, Bryn's attitude and tone was always reminiscent of someone who was here to help me. Being a defendant in a case without a lawyer can mean that you will be taken advantage of and your voice may be stifled. Bryn was my voice. Not once did she demean, talk down to me or make me feel less than. That means a lot to me because I was completely at fault; and I only wanted to rectify the situation with as much dignity as possible. I probably would have been railroaded without Bryn. I'm more than appreciative or her and her due diligence. I would definitely recommend her to family, friends or anyone who found themselves in a legal situation similar to my own.
