I do not usually shop at this location, however, my parents do and I was with my mom today. I shop at my neighborhood Kroger faithfully 1-2 times weekly. Half of the items on my list were out of stock at this location. The Kroger associates I encountered were rude and very unpleasant. I have never walked out of an establishment leaving everything behind because of how disrespected I felt as a customer. The self checkout Kroger associate, Amy, removed items from my hand as if I were a child. She then informed me that she would have to reset the belt because it was frozen, and then pressed a button before leaving myself and the customer behind me to go back to the other self checkout registers, never telling us that we would need to join a different line. After the other customer and I were conversing about if she planned on coming back, she shouted from the other self checkout “you’ll need to join another line”…. minutes after we were still standing there thinking she was coming back to fix the register. I will NEVER spend my money at this Kroger. I hope Scott, the Kroger leader actually addresses the concerns I shared with him about the two not so pleasant associates, Amy and Unknown male, I spoke to him about because I hope no one ever has this same experience. Grocery shopping can be chaotic but for some it’s therapeutic, guess I will have to find a different form of therapy this Sunday to relieve me of this experience.
