It's going to be very hard to put into words the experience I had here, but I didn't get on here to not at least try!
Walking into wiseacre estate is a luxury experience. You're greeted by Chuck, one of the nicest people I think I've met in my life time and the life of the party, and he was just the host. He and the very lovely Charlotte led us around the gorgeous mid century property, nestled in a cozy little alcove on lake whitehurst. There's art deco pieces everywhere throughout the grounds and the house, cluttering the walls in an endearing almost childlike wonder; inspiring whimsy in minds of those who would gaze upon it. It's maximilist, but in a way that's perfectly executed, from the rubber ducky bathroom to the scattered Archie decor and the where's Waldo-esque giraffe collection. The lake stretches around the property on almost all sides, giving it a glorious view for both sunset and night sky photography, wrapping it all up in a nice little package is the airport across the water, so you can get close up planes in shot, too!
Chuck was a wonderful host, as weird as our group runs, and was delighted to have us, mascots and all!!!
It was worth the drive out here, I would be delighted to go over there again one day in my travels. :)
PS: If you DONT sit in the hot tub for at least two hours while you're here, you're not doing it right. You gotta really let those muscles relax :)
Thank you for having us!!
