Read MoreI was going through something last night and decided to call Timen House. I asked if there were any rooms available and how much were their rates. I believe it was a woman who answered the phone late at night, and the first thing she said to me was, “what?”. It was a lack of communication from her end to respond in such a poor manner. I repeated my question to her, which then lead to her asking me, “What time is it?”. I was very confused, and told her the time. She proceeded to say, “It’s late, why are you calling at this time?” In a joking way. I didn’t understood why she was behaving this way towards me, and I repeated my question to her for the third time. She told me she refuses to help me because it was already late while laughing over the phone. I told her she was rude and hung up.
This incident happened on March 22, 2025 at 12:49 AM, Saturday morning. The person working this shift has no customer service and poor skills on making a business money. Whoever is the manager, at least look into this situation cause the way how she treated me over the phone last night was uncalled for. It also makes no sense for her to make a call into an unnecessary situation. If that was the case, they should have never picked up the phone — lacking common sense.
I’m aware that motels operate throughout different hours of the day and night. I never had an issue trying to find a place to sleep and rest regardless of time.
***Response to your message: I don’t understand why you’re blaming me. Okay, Google doesn’t allow you to change your hours of operation and visiting the website would have been ideal to check, however, you’re completely dismissing how I was treated by your employee over the phone. It’s poor customer service to verbally say that they refuse to help. Your employee could have directed me to visit the website instead of being completely rude. I decided to avoid your services moving fwd, but after reading your response I’m baffled about you completely dismissed how your employee treated the whole situation and blaming me for “waking up your guest”. Unbelievable.
