The resort has a beautiful location—steps from the beach, great restaurants, and shopping. We appreciated the complimentary beach gear (towels, toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards), but hauling it all back ourselves was exhausting. I would’ve happily paid extra for pickup service.
Our room was lovely, but impossible to enjoy due to a nightly rooftop concert across the street blaring music from 5–10 PM. With a sick family member and young kids, this made relaxing—or sleeping—very difficult. The front desk offered to call the other resort but the volume only increased. They also seemed unhelpful with other simple requests.
Parking is $51/night, which we weren’t informed of upfront. With a family of five and lots of luggage, we chose valet, but the long wait times and surprise fees made it feel like a poor value.
Elevator wait times were frustrating, and the water/ice room near us had visible mold and a strong smell—unacceptable in a new hotel and a serious health concern.
We skipped the sauna when we learned it cost $60, and the overcrowded spa (23 people in a 9-person limit) was far from relaxing.
The hotel makes a great first impression, but unfortunately, our overall experience didn’t live up to it.
