Read MoreWhat an incredible experience. I stayed here last weekend with three of my girlfriends for a girls weekend that was much needed after the last year. For the three of us this was our first Bed & Breakfast experience. The property and house are absolutely gorgeous. The house sits on 11 acres of land and throughout Jake, our host, has created unique and fun trails that you cannot visit without exploring. The fairy gardens throughout and the way the trails intertwined is a magical and whimsical experience that takes you back to your childhood adventures.
The home itself is breathtaking. Very warm and inviting, both of the guest rooms are well decorated and the beds, they are so comfortable. I am in my second trimester of being pregnant and slept like a rock. The Zane room has its own bathroom attached which is a nice touch. The main areas we had to ourselves most of the time and when we were in the company of Jake and his family it was always a pleasant and fun experience.
Jake himself is a very interesting gentleman who everyone absolutely loved. He is of course a great host and very accomodating. I loved coming down for breakfast and the way it was set up, he made us freshly ground coffee, had fruit each morning, and several juices. He also was sure to accommodate one of us who were vegan. If you are staying in the area you have to be sure not to miss this place, even for just one night. Thank you again for hosting our weekend and we will without a doubt be back in the future.
