ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.Had a coupon for a standard king room $10 off (coupon showed a larger room with a flat screen TV, microwave and fridge). Rates were $55/night for this exact room, yet somehow I still ended up spending $60. Ended up with a tiny room, QUEEN size bed, box tv, no fridge or microwave, no side table or desk. Felt very claustrophobic!!! Staff seemed offended that we wanted to use a coupon! Made absolutely no sense!Breakfast was mediocre and staff started to clean up was we were still eating. Watched as she put stale english muffins back in the bag, I guess to put out the next morning! GROSS! Flies buzzed around the glass cabinet displaying bagels, english muffins and pieces of bread! Bananas were clearly old and already has bruising, finding a fresh one seemed impossible. Besides the cereal everything else seemed old and expired!Room was dirty and REEKED of cigarettes!!! Side tables had obvious burn marks. Trash cans were missing bags. Floor had trash like dirty straws and food crumbs. A/C was making loud screeching sound and sink had a constant drip which didn't stop the ENTIRE time. Felt like chinese water torture! Went to complain and ask for a better room and the front desk guy refused to switch rooms or even upgrade us, refused to apply my boyfriend's military discount along with the coupon (which I'm not sure how it was even applied since we still paid full price). Was very disrespectful when we just asked for a refund and refused to do so. Gave us a serious attitude, while we had to wait for him to finish his cigarette to get any service at all. Lobby and front desk area was left abandoned as this guy paced the parking lot making personal calls and chain smoking. Seeming completely bored. Hotel was like an old western with tumbleweeds blowing by, it was that dead, we very quickly understood why. After calling corporate to complain we were still told nothing could be done, they are privately owned. Laundry and house keeping women were the only nice part of our stay and offered to clean the room and gave us extra towels, but by that point I figured there was no point. The next morning as we were trying to leave and pack up our car, the front desk kept calling the room and explaining that they needed the room ASAP and we needed to hurry up with checking out because they were extremely busy (yet the parking lot was close to empty and staff members were seen taking smoke breaks excessively throughout our stay). Threatening to call the cops if the room was destroyed, mind you we were very respectful of the room and just all around disappointed with the way we were treated like such trash for absolutely no reason. In town for my boyfriend's mom's funeral and definitely didn't appreciate the rudeness and disrespect on top of mourning a loved one. Will NEVER stay here again. In disbelief on how we were treated. WORST hotel experience of my life and we are currently in the moving process, so hotel living had been a constant thing lately with still finding a permanent home. Smallest (most expensive) room with the least amount of amenities we've come across in the last month. For the same amount of money we could have stayed at Motel 6 and the room would have been double the size and $10 cheaper with our military discount. Was very tempted to stay and warn others as cars entered the parking lot. TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Not worth the money!!!! Staff was rude and lazy! Hotel was nearly empty and this explains why!!
