Laurie and Wally, the owners, are welcoming to the extent of feeling as if I was home. The Hot Mineral Baths are wonderful, healing, and clean. Shawna, the woman who cleaned my room, was amazing, did an impeccable job, and was fun to talk to. As for a place to stay while passing through on bike(it’s on a major bike trail), in RV, tenting, staying in a “Hostel” with shared bathrooms, shower, laundry, and community dining and living room, or having a room and bathroom to yourself I’d recommend this attraction to anyone wanting to experience something unique. The history is fabulous, which Laurie is well versed in. The building is quaint, definitely a walk into the “old west”, and couldn’t be a better spot to lay one’s head for a night or 21 nights(spa package available for healing retreats). The beds are comfortable, quiet, and have bamboo sheets on them; AMAZING!
Absolute 5-star in my world.
