Wow!! Truly outdid my expectations! Needed somewhere to crash at 3am after leaving a previous hotel due to finding bedbugs after checking in and ran upon this place. Only stayed until check out since we got in so late but for the price and convenience you can't beat it. Now I know it may not look the sight and be the most updated but I can say this coming from a retired housekeeper and former truck driver... literally one of THE CLEANEST hotels I've ever been to. I was very skeptical 🧐 due to the area and what I just went through but I went to sleep fully at rest there. I even did the headboard and lampshade test for dust and NOT a single speck!! NO BUGS, NO ROACHES!! Just peace and quiet and cleanliness!! The staff are friendly and polite as can be. Would highly recommend if you're in the area and you need a nice place to rest and it's right down the road from a truck stop for a quick bite!! No pics since we were exhausted coming in and rushing getting out but pics wouldn't do it justice anyway ☺️

A friend and I stayed here over the weekend for Railwatch 2021.
We arrived late at night, and rang the bell.
The lady was super kind to us.
It was $62 a night for us, it was $2 for using a card.
We stayed in room 32.
The hotel is pretty dated, but expected for the area.
The room was very clean, a little musty but the sheets were clean, and the mattresses were clean.
There were dead bugs under the furniture, but they seemed to be what got in from the door.
There is a newer TV, programmed to satellite, and microwave that works well!
It was reletively quiet at night, no one really hanging around.
Each morning it looks like the two owners make their way around to clean the rooms and provide essentials.
I would definitely stay here again if I come up to Folkston again.
Locals recommend this hotel, and remember it when they were younger.
I wish had photos of the room, but I never thought to take any.
Be sure to check the A/C filters, as we think this is why it was a little musty.

I was impressed, it's definitely an older motel but they have been working on cleaning it up. Both rooms we stayed in were clean, had a flat screen TV with cable as well as free WiFi, a refrigerator and microwave oven too. Yes, it's an older motel but clean, nice and well worth the money. But I would suggest getting rooms from 30 - 35. They are the nicest rooms that have been updated.

First of all you are in a back woods town and are lucky to have such a hotel. After the new owners bought the place it immediately became a clean and pleasing place to stay with a mini store. Now that's pretty good for a 2 star type hotel! We're building a house near by and can't afford to pay $100 a night, so cleanliness, nice proprietors, and a comfortable bed in a well lit safe environments fits the bill with us, at a price we can afford to stay at least 1 night a week, or two! Give it a try! Peace to all.
