Read MoreI stayed with this host a total of almost 5 months, and had multiple issues. However, on my last stay here the host completely lost all respect from me and in turn my business. I could not turn the heat off my entire stay this past reservation. The host told me they couldn't send anyone out to fix it until the next day. I told them I wanted the night refunded and she agreed. Second day nobody came out again, I contacted the host and they seemed surprised and said they'd extend the same courtesy to the next night. I asked for the refund and the host waited until the reservation was ended and refunded me $25, not even one night. I slept with all the windows open the entire stay and still sweat every night, the heat was never fixed. There are no chain locks or secondary locks on any of the doors. The bathtubs have been painted with white paint which is flaking off in every room I've stayed in. The handles in the shower are all broken, one night I had the shower head randomly hit me in the back because it had broke off. In some of their bigger rooms, they have cardboard in place of windows. Constant noise from other tenants because the walls are super thin. Rooms are missing panels to blinds so people can look right into your room. My daughter had her shoes off 5 minutes and her feet were filthy. When I asked for a vaccuum so I could clean the dirty floors they told me they didn't have anyone on site and couldn't get me one. So I sent them a picture of a pile of dirt in the room and they never did anything. Sheets smelling like BO, when it's a new room we just checked into. They give you 2 towels for an entire week even with multiple guests. They also send you a waiver they want you to fill out and they tell you you'll have to pay a $50 deposit. However when you do it, it's actually $100 and took 10 days before it was back in my account. Half the time the host would send the check in instructions late. I lost power because one of their heaters tripped a circuit and they didn't fix it until after 9 at night.
