I booked this motel through Booking.com, but it was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced – an absolute health hazard. The room was disgustingly filthy. The bed sheets were stained and looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages (see photos). The furniture was sticky and grimy, and the entire room felt like it hadn’t seen proper cleaning in months. I was genuinely concerned for my health.
I arrived late, and with no other options nearby at 1 a.m., I had no choice but to stay. I had to sleep with my jacket and pants on, because there was no way I was touching those sheets. I’ve never had to do that in my life, but this place was that bad.
It gets worse—the tap water came out yellow for the first 10 seconds, and it had a strange smell like ginseng. Even the towel had an odd cumin-like odor, making me question whether anything in the room was even remotely clean.
On top of that, it was incredibly noisy. I barely slept due to the constant noise from the street and neighboring rooms. It felt like trying to sleep in the middle of a construction site.
The worst part? The property manager refused to answer any calls. Even after Booking.com approved a free refund, they refused to cooperate, leaving me stuck in this horrible place. I booked two nights, but there is no way I’m returning for the second night—even without a refund, I refuse to stay here again.
The only slight positive was the front desk lady, who was friendly and tried to help. However, despite her efforts, she couldn’t change the disaster this place is.
Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. This isn’t just an uncomfortable stay—it’s a filthy, unsafe nightmare.
