The room was mostly okay, it was clean and nothing seemed unusual about it.nWhat did seem unusual was the cost-cutting measures taken by the hotel. They are very understaffed and there is no housekeeping at night. The phone in the room was unplugged, which may have been on purpose to prevent an influx of callers - I had to go to the front desk for everything.nCalling the front desk number which I found on the website takes several minutes to get through to the attendant, and the phone is always ringing at the front desk.nThey charge you for extra water bottles if you want more than the two small ones given at arrival.nThere is no toothbrush, comb, or shaving kit.nThere are barely any amenities, the gym is okay and the indoor pool area is too cold to be usable in the winter.nnOverall, I could stay again if I had to, but you might be better off finding a hotel that is more generous with their offerings. I've never stayed in a Marriott that has been so cutthroat with their expenses, it's more like a budget hotel.nTravel groupnSolonRooms: 3nService: 1nLocation: 2
