⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Solid stay, but I’ve realized I prefer exterior-entry hotels
Overall, this was a pretty solid stay — the room was clean, the bed was decent, and things were mostly quiet. Nothing major to complain about, but I’ve come to realize something about my personal preference: I much prefer hotels where the doors open directly to the outside, rather than into an indoor hallway.
That hallway setup just isn’t for me — it makes me feel boxed in and sometimes watched, especially when there’s staff knocking early in the morning or checking in too often under the name of “housekeeping.” I’m fine handling my own trash and towels — I don’t need anyone knocking unless it’s actually important.
I get that they’re probably trying to keep the place safe and running smooth, but I value privacy and just being left alone when I stay somewhere. If I ran a hotel, I’d lean more toward giving guests their space and trusting them to reach out if they need something.
Aside from that, everything worked, and once I settled in, it was a decent experience. I’d probably stay again in a pinch, but I’ll be leaning more toward the exterior-entry style motels from here on out. Just feels more relaxed and private.
