They also advertised a restaurant café style breakfast bar for an additional fee at their attached restaurant, but when we got here, there was no such thing.
It felt like “misleading” advertising, and there was no concessions or concerns or considerations from the staff offered. In fact, we arrived 15 minutes after check-in began, and our room was not ready. We were told we would have to wait another 30 minutes. When we returned, the room still wasn’t ready, and the maids were in the room, finalizing the cleaning. Wait. What!? No apologies, no concessions. I’m very disappointed.

The room we receive had a king size bed, two person Jacuzzi, TV with Samsung streaming comparable to Roku, google, Amazon fire stick, a cabinet with a few dresser, drawers, a desktop refrigerator, and a microwave, and a single person table with a chair.
Nearby activities
There is an Asian Grocery Store in a shopping center across the street in a plaza that contain a Planet Fitness gym and several other shops. There are several popular, fast food, restaurants, nearby such as Wendy’s, Burger King, Popeyes, chicken, McDonald’s, and a few other single person owned restaurants.
Safety
Located off street in a residential apartment complex area. Feel secure and does not immediately produce feelings of anxiety. I would consider it safe from crime, pandering and loitering, and property theft.
Walkability
The area feels more like a business district than a residential district or a vacation getaway. Visitors may not be accustomed to the kind of traffic they may encounter while walking that would not present issues for locals. I would not suggest walking the area not because it isn’t safe, but it doesn’t lend itself well to walking.
Food & drinks
Forget about it; if you want something to eat, you’ll need to order delivery or drive to go get it. They do have a vending machine, but why not stop at a gas station instead?
Noteworthy details
For the price of your stay, there are other more popular hotels nearby that may provide you with an overall better experience and certainly better customer service for the same price point. However, if you do choose Rodeway Inn Capri, I would highly recommend going to the Asian grocery store and supporting them and perhaps ordering Chinese food from many of the indoor restaurants. Also, consider how many trips across the toll bridge to New York, if needed, may affect your final cost.
