Every corner of the property has Mark and Laura's (the owners) personal touches - paintings, homemade decor, and art. I stayed in the Cowboy Casita, and it feels like home as soon as you walk into the house. If you're feeling sociable, make sure you hang out with the owners for what they call "Howdy Hour". It's located right next to the nature preserve, so there are frequent animals that come to visit along the back fence. It's definitely the wild west, so bring a blacklight flashlight to look for scorpions at night if you're feeling daring. Great for getting away from the crowded city and spending some time in peace.
