I’ve been staying at this hotel two to three times a year since the week it first opened. Back then, it was one of my favorite places — always clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly, attentive people. The service used to be excellent, and I often had great conversations with the manager about how much my family and I enjoyed our stays.
Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the quality has noticeably declined. The lack of care and attention is starting to show — rooms aren’t as clean as they once were, and maintenance seems to be slipping. I’ve noticed broken hinges, peeling wallpaper, and a general sense that upkeep is no longer a priority.
Since the pandemic, they’ve started charging $5 a night for parking, which feels unnecessary for loyal guests. Despite my frequent stays and member status, I never receive upgrades anymore, even when using my rewards. When I bring up concerns, they’re acknowledged but treated more like an inconvenience than genuine feedback.
It’s disappointing to see a place that once set such a high standard lose its touch. I’m seriously considering other options for my future stays unless things turn around.
