From check-in, Daniel at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent recommendations. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I was upgraded the next day by William to a top-floor suite with stunning mountain views. His thoughtful follow-up to ensure my comfort was greatly appreciated.
The hotel’s restaurant offers a trendy yet inviting atmosphere with outstanding cocktails and food. Every dish—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was incredible, thanks to the skilled chef and attentive servers like Jason, who took great care of us. Noah, our bartender, crafted exceptional cocktails and shared fantastic local tips, making the evenings at the bar memorable.
The Refuge Spa was a highlight. Having frequented renowned spas in Vegas, Tahoe, and Temecula, I can confidently say this one surpasses them. Alice and Sophia provided a warm welcome, and David delivered the best massage of my life with unmatched expertise.
The location is ideal—safe, close to the casino, and overlooking the Truckee River. My only minor suggestion for improvement would be updating or fixing the video games in the Bocce arcade.
Management and staff should be proud of the top-tier service and experience they provide. I highly recommend staying here!
