Read MoreI recently spent nearly a month recovering from surgery at the Renaissance in Raleigh’s North Hills. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The hotel’s immaculate facilities were impressive, but what truly set it apart was the warmth and hospitality of every staff member, who made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.
To accommodate our extended stay, they graciously placed us on the concierge floor, ensuring we had everything we needed. The managers of that area, Gean, Ty, and Lyman, went above and beyond to not just meet, but exceed expectations. The team went above and beyond, adding thoughtful touches to brighten our days. One standout moment was when they opened the concierge lounge so we could enjoy the holiday tree lighting from the hotel, knowing I couldn’t venture out. Their kindness and attention to detail transformed the Renaissance into what truly felt like our home away from home. My mother and I even referred to it as “home” during our stay.
The compassion and genuine care displayed by the staff turned what could have been a challenging time into a remarkably positive experience. Saying goodbye was so emotional that we actually cried because the Renaissance team had become like family to us.
I cannot recommend this property more highly. If you visit, be sure to meet Melissa, Tim, Emily, the kind blond at the check-in desks, the breakfast waitresses, housekeepers, and valets - they all played a part in making our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality far exceeded anything we could have imagined. A simple “thank you” doesn’t feel like enough to express our gratitude for everything they did to make our time there so special.
